You're leaving out the savings though.

So - if illegal immigration costs us $100 billion/year, and we stop, let's say 25% of that with a wall. How much money to we save annually? It's obviously not as simple as taking 25% of 100 billion since the illegal immigrants who are here are still here - unless they're actually getting deported, which is highly unlikely and would be additional cost.

What we really need to know is cost per illegal immigrant and how many flow in annually.

yes someone should do an analysis on the pros and cons, costs and cost savings and alternatives, before proposing the biggest civil infrastructure project in this nation's history.

    2 more beenfits:
    1) Construction and engineering job stimulus. It's a massive government stimulus project under the guise of National Security: Win-Win for both sides.
    2) Potential Revenue if built with some flair. On the low end, the Hoover Dam gets about 1mil visitors a year. The Great Wall of China gets 10+mil per year (multiple sections combined). Theoretically, sections can be built with only US or Mexican access, allowing both countries to realize some revenue.

Oday Aboushi taking in Paul Simon's cover of Country Joe & the Fish's "Fixing to Die Rag (Over Troubled Waters)" at the DNC last night.

How brutal was that plodding death knell?

to me that's the biggest story of it all. We (the United States) consume an ungodly amount of drugs. Illegals didn't bring us drugs, we brought illegals here because we are such massive users. It is estimated the drug industry just in the United States is around $360 billion a year. Put yourself on the other side of Trump's wall. So you know on the other side of the wall is a $360 billion opportunity. Is a simple wall really going to stop you? Come on... its laughable

Politicians are corrupt and evil in all parties. Some Democrats would have you believe its exclusive to the good ol boys club in the GOP. Any Republican with his eyes open would recognize idiots like King for what he is.

After watching the entire Republican convention, and now the Democratic response, I can't help but hold the opinion that most of the lies and slander are coming from the left at this point.

When Michael "the gentile giant" Brown's mom comes out will they be playing "Fuck Da Police" over the PA system? I mean its only appropriate considering the liberal platform is the shit all over cops and to defend criminals while shitting all over the widows of dead cops in Dallas and Baton Rouge.

Those are protest flags Petro. They're making the anti Russian email hack statement, not pledging allegiance Or, the Bernie Babies are still throwing their tantrum.

Really? What do old USSR flags have to do with the Russian Federation? These are Bernie socialists supporters (most of whom have no idea what socialism/communism really is). These nutjobs did the same thing in 2011 http://legalinsurrection.com/2011/10/the-ignorance-of-the-masses-soviet-flag-at-occupyphiladelphia

I guess they were making the anti email hack statement back then as well :)

So how long is it going to take and how much will it cost to build an effective wall 7500 miles long?

Then what do we do about the 95,000 miles of unprotected shoreline?

So the Russians want Trump so much that they get their special op hackers to break into the DNC servers and expose a bunch of embarrassing emails? Hmm well I wonder why that is. It possibly couldn't be because Trump thinks Putin's doing a better job than Obama and wants a "deeper" relationship with Russia could it?

And of course that albino tard Assange is saying there is no proof its the Russians. I think I'll just trust the upcoming FBI probe, which I would bet my paycheck will point to Russia.

What difference does it really make? DNC is as corrupt as it gets. End of story.

I'd bet there's much more of this stuff coming soon. Can't wait to see some classified emails from Hillary's "secure" personal server :)
