SOOO Many movies I want to see that are coming out. Iron Man 3, Star Trek, Wolverene, that one with the giant robots fighting alens (the one Jax from SOA is in) World War Z. The movie with all the comedians something with the end of the world.

Star Trek Into Darkness was a good film. I enjoyed it. Nothing special, but not bad either. Solid 2nd Chapter.

^ Agreed. I think that the franchise has been successfully rebooted, it may be time to go where no Star Trek movie has gone before. They can't keep recycling the original movies as that will soon get stale. Too many of us remember the originals. What this franchise needs is a new Supervillian. Perhaps a Romulan invasion? Anything other than rehashed old ST movies.

Very very good Star Trek film...The acting of that bad guy was excellent. I think trekkies will love it.

Bigger thing is JJ Abrams was only half interested in this franchise, he drooling at the prospects of working on Star Wars. Cant wait to see his work there.

Does anyone else think Chris Pine would have been a pretty good descendant of Luke Skywalker?

    SPOILER:

Based on the 2nd film it appears that the 3rd film will probably explore more Klingons I guess...

I'm rooting for the next movie to give us a nice little interstellar war to look at. Saving the Federation is kind of tame. It'd be nice to see a new baddie show up and threaten the Milky Way in a big way.

The opening scene should be something cutting through Borg Cubes like they were tinfoil.

Beyond was awesome. Go see it! Fun, smart, action-packed. Probably my favorite movie of the Summer.

Loved it! Felt like this was truly the reboot of the franchise. Saw it in IMAX & 3D.

I am really interested to see where they go for the next one. We know Chris Hemsworth has signed on, so it will have something to do with Kirk's father.

What would Star Trek be without time travel?

Great that they brought in a new villain not associated with the original franchise. I would have liked to see a new design for NC 1701-A as the original one is indeed dated. I didn't care much for the Next Gen Enterprise either. I did like the homage to the original bridge crew. Very nice touch and very classy at the same time. Its great to do a reboot that recognizes the original. Its even better to go where no Star Trek has gone before.
