    thats an asshole statement.

in a related note, Shaq certainly has had his asshole moments over the years but he recently tweeted something about his shoes. A lot of people laugh at his shoes because they are cheap walmart/payless shoes but he tweeted something like "laugh all you want but the shaq brand has sold millions of affordable shoes to kids"... and it made me respect shaq a little more.

Sounds like Durant is getting in while the gettin's good. The man is smarter than everyone else, sure he could have stayed in OKC for a final year but by the time that contract was up it could have been too late to join the golden team...

"Excluding shooting guard Klay Thompson and power forward Draymond Green, every one of Golden State’s players could be playing for somebody else next summer. Durant has a player option next summer, where he could conceivably leave the Bay Area after one year regardless of whether he wins a title with the 2016-17 Warriors.

What is especially terrifying with the Warriors entering 2017 NBA free agency is that both point guard Stephen Curry and sixth man Andre Iguodala will be unrestricted. The Warriors are now almost guaranteed to lose Iguodala next summer, as he’ll want more money and probably more playing time than he has gotten in Golden State. What if Curry has had enough of the Bay Area and wants to go home to North Carolina to play for the Charlotte Hornets?

Having potentially five players (Curry, Thompson, Durant, Iguodala, and Green) worth the max at season’s end, there’s no realistic way that Warriors general manager Bob Myers will be able to keep the Armageddon Lineup intact."

Iguodala won't get the max, but the rest probably will. Wonder who GS chooses to try to keep with Durant out of the other 3?

I never liked Shaq (the person) when he was playing, but I've come to respect his opinion as a broadcaster, and he's a pretty funny motherfucker to boot.

What you just said just makes me respect him more.

As far as Durant goes, I first thought he was a humble professional type, but over the years watching him at press conferences in OKC he kind of exposed himself as a d-bag, and I was surprised the Spurs actually tried to get him, that's not the personality Pop usually pursues.

That said, Russell Westbrook has a soul made from week old possum droppings and I hope he ends up with the Knicks, he is a garbage human being.

You've always had it out for Russell. I don't get it. The dude is going to make a fan base really happy when he inevitably leaves OKC.

Anyone see the Kris Dunn crossover? Shot didn't go in but he broke some dude's ankles. Jeez. Finished with 27 pts. Celtics are going to regret passing on this kid.

Steph isn't leaving the Warriors. There simply is no history of players wanting to "go home"; that's a media driven concept to create something to talk about.

Klay Thompson is likely as good as gone and maybe at some point this season. He's already playing second fiddle to Steph and now being asked to play third behind Durant. I'm sure a player of his caliber believes he's a star and wants to have a team of his own to prove it.

I don't think so either but the Warriors superteam is going to get broken up by the cap

Cap and desire for personal success. These guys have all proven to be capable of winning an NBA Championship, so they don't have to sacrifice their own careers for that pursuit. But only one of them is regarded as a true superstar -- Curry, and if Klay and Iguadala believe they are deserving of more individual applaud and success, they will have to go elsewhere to get it. And they will.

?????????? What did Clay Bennet lie about? and who did he stab in the back?

Anybody that isn't in OKC right now is because they didn't want to be. Harden, Ibaka, Jackson and now KD.

Harden left over a few million

Reggie Jackson wanted to start but bro you aint Westbrook.. and we needed a scoring option of the bench.

Ibaka ruined himself.. he chose to be a shooter over and over again until he depleted his worth.. and his block per game rate has been cut in half.

Kevin Durant is just a pussy with nothing pumping in his left chest.

Russ has already been recruiting and says he going to embrace being the guy in OKC... he could leave... i have trust issues now, but i Dont think Russ would go against everything he ever stood for like KD... "Russ has that mamba blood in his veins" - Kobe Bryant

Warriors gonna struggle in the playoffs with that lack of big men depth. I can see them shooting themselves out of a lot of games too...

Going to miss the Big Fundamental.

Nice video of Timmy D raping the Nets. He's the greatest PF to ever play the game.

I love Duncan. For the past 6 or 7 seasons I always said he was going to fall off but every single season I was proven wrong. What a consistent forCe for so many years.

    Better career? Kobe or Duncan?

Makes me wonder if OKC should keep Westbrook and try to bang with the Warriors in the playoffs. They have a couple young perimeter defenders, they just need an off the bench scorer to have a shot at them. Westbrook will average something around 30pts, but they need scoring somewhere else if they are going to keep him.

It's interesting to see what the Warriors do. Maybe they move Thompson for a big man? They have way more scoring power than they need, and as big of choke artists as the Clippers are, Griffin/Jordan might give them problems.
