Frankly, that is bullshit. We know enough to say that these two men did not deserve to die. You need to start calling out the police for their incompetence in detaining petty criminals without killing them. This is what I was talking about - it's always siding with the police, because, "hey we can never know what happened!" So, these two men died but they may have deserved it so let's absolve these pussy cops.
But now we are talking about two different things. Absolutely black parents tell their children that you "yes sir" and "no sir" the police, even if the police are wrong, so you live to see another day. But that is the individual lessons being tought within the community and why the majority of black men who are pulled over by police are not killed. But it's not the vocal message being advocated every time a black man is killed by police. The vocal message coming from the community advocates is that every killing of a black man by police is unjustified even when the evidence shows, like in the Michael Brown case, that the police was the victim and defending himself. When you support the actions of Michael Brown you send the message that resisting, combating and attacking the Police is okay and encourage future instances. If these advocates don't represent the community as a whole than the community needs to speak out against the support of black men whose shootings are justified. But when you say nothing and allow them to speak for you then it is the message of the community.
No one said they deserved to die. Do you actually believe the nonsense you spew? Are you seriously unable to process the details to the point where you make shit up like this? There may be valid reasons the cops shot them. We do not know, even if your twitter feed has made judgement, that doesn't make it true. I still haven't sided with the police as you continue to try and say I am. All I've done is say we don't know what happened and discuss the possibility for valid reasons why the cop would have shot.
Except except nobody has said to absolve the cops and because you are emotionally unbalanced you simply interpret not condemning them immediately as support. That's your problem and not an indictment of anyone else.
Aye, this had to be something long in its' planning to be enacted so quickly. Hell, the demonstration was about as spontaneous as you can get and be organized. I'm pretty sure you're probably on the money about the pre-planning. What happened last night is beyond deplorable and should be condemned as much. There is zero positive you can take away from a violent massacre like that. Terrorism, domestic in this case, isn't an acceptable way to deal with anything. The result is anarchy and an misplaced weight of attention on the situation. I'm eager to find out about these assholes because they've made the situation a whole lot more unattainable than it was less than a day ago.
Staying neutral is siding with the cops, especially with the evidence in both cases that strongly points to both men being unjustly killed.
Ill give you a local story. We had a fatal police shooting down here. I know the officer well. He pulled a known felon over. A man who went to jail for shooting at an officer. The officer was black as well. He asked the man yo show him his hands and he didnt. Officer Days had his gun drawn, didnt shoot, saw him reaching for a gun. Warned him again, man ignored and he was shot. Killed dead. The overwhelming majority of black people here, who didn't make the news, said he deserved it. It wasnt even a big issue down here like it was in the media. The community didnt say he should ignore the officer. They said he shoulda just followed the damn officers instructions. Nobody glorified him. So what a few media outlets spew, doesnt account for the real world and you know that. At the same time Days was an asshole who abused his power, often illegally. He had nine municipal complaints filled against him and not a thing was done. So what are we to make of this? Theres no simply do and youll be ok. There also isnt a community of people saying ignore the police and do whatever. bridgeton_residents_complaints_pile_up_against_off.html I think everyone needs to check themselves. Both sides, because the incidents are become to mainstream and sensationalized and we as a country cant be divided when we have other issues.
Was there a body camera on that officer in your story? Just wondering how you know the details of the shooting like that.
It was all over the news dude. Plus i live here, im a fixture in the community and i know the officer involved and the idiot he shot. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Who said I'm neutral? Just because I don't advocate the wholesale slaughter of cops doesn't mean I don't try to avoid dealing with them any less. What you're offering up can only lead to anarchy and chaos. I don't know what the solution is but it's not killing cops that weren't doing anything wrong at the time. However, I'll offer this up using the same "logic" whip used yesterday. If they have ever done anything wrong and there is. One and done, you're fired immediately and barred from doing anything that puts a gun in their hand. Additionally, he right to own a gun legally revoked. I'm sure they will find a way to get one; like so many idiots in this country seem to do anyway.
Having issues with this app uodate. braheme days, google it, hell come up. Otherwise i woulda posted it Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
