The suspect who died was killed by a bomb that the authorities detonated, according to the Dallas police chief, per CNN
Yes, the police are viewed as a unit that has become militarized and continues to kill minorities disproportionately. Until they as an institution change their ways, we can expect more killings like this, because the legal system seems to never prosecute cops like they do everyone else.
How is stating facts trolling? Fact: minorities are killed disproportionately by police Fact: the police officers in many of these cases get acquitted or it doesn't even go to trial Try again, dumbass.
yes, good catch, I realize now my post doesn't make that clear. The bomb was set up by the suspect and the police used bomb robots to detonate it
you are starting to become a bigger shithead than the Irishman and thats saying something. 5 cops with families got executed that had absolutely nothing to do with any of that. Grow the fuck up. If this was a bar and not the internet someone would've given you a black eye by now
so they were clearly prepared for war. This obviously was planned a long time ago and they used this event to finally go about their plan to attack police.
Quite an interesting double standard on this forum. Five cops killed - it's a tragedy. Two black men dubiously killed for petty crimes at best - no sympathy for their families, they should have listened to police better.
So where is the outpouring of sympathy for the families of Sterling and Castile? All I read about on TGG is how they should have followed police instructions better and maybe they'd be alive.
There hasn't been an outpouring of sympathy for Castile? Have you not been paying attention to the rest of the world outside of some dumb fucks on tgg? Either way, these cops had nothing to do with that and by you saying they deserve this just makes you one of the dumb fucks of TGG.
Hey, I was only talking about TGG. I know there's a ton of outpouring of sympathy outside of this forum. I was pointing out the double standard on this site from the right wing police apologists.
Are you seriously attempting to argue that supporting and defending behavior and actions doesn't send the message that said behavior and actions are appropriate and justified and therefore encourages the continuation of such behavior and actions? The only dumb shit in this conversation would be arguing such a position.
America's gun culture just blows chunks. That said, the killing of 5 police officers in a pre-planned ambush-style attack wouldn't have been prevented by any gun laws that I can think of. It's a tragedy and a disaster for our shared community of values because some people stepped outside that culture and did something absolutely horrific which cannot be justified by any argument or rationale. Bad cops are all over the place but that doesn't mean that it's ok to randomly execute 5 people as some form of sick protest over the values of bad cops.
Also, I never said these cops individually deserved this. It is a tragedy and I can't imagine what their families going through. My point was as an institution, police forces in this country have become militarized minority-killing forces and then when they do kill the law never holds them properly accountable. The "good cops" seemingly never speak out against the bad cops, and nothing changes in the violent culture. So naturally, people get fed up with nothing happening and you get some vigilante sniper asshole take out five Dallas cops. This was bound to happen and it won't stop until cops take some accountability for their brutality.
Im arguing you sound like an ignorant racist asshole. Youre better than this shit. When have black communities ever said disobey the police? Never. Shit my parents would have fucked me up after the police got done with me. And every memeber of my family extended and immediate was raised the same damn way. As was evwry single black person i knew, whether or not they were in trouble with the law or not. So get your facts straight. Otherwise you just sound really fucking stupid. Maybe the problem isn't a double standard but your ability to understand the difference between the two situations? In one situation we have cops mowed down by snipers. Obviously bad guys with bad intentions. In the other two situations there is incomplete information at best and people like you rush to the conclusion that the cop was bad. People are just stating the OBVIOUS fact that we simply DO NOT KNOW what happened with the police shootings. In one case there is a struggle where the guy did have a gun on him and you cannot tell what he's doing with his right arm. It's involved in a struggle. In the second case the video is after the whole incident happened and still somehow some geniuses think they know what happened.
