This 'no-indict' changed nothing - all was in place and partisan minds (whether pro or con) were already made up from day one come 'Hill' or hot water. GOP wingnuts: Trump as is his wont, stupidly warbles about 'the fix is in!" while missing the boat on the fact that Comey teed it up for him: you splice and dice what Comey said vis-a-vis Hillary's claims and a 0:30-sec. political ad pretty much writes itself in a "he said truth/she said bullshit" fashion. Dem moonbats: pay 24-hour faux contrite "carelessly handled emails" lip service on the cable talk shows before slapping high-fives during the commercial breaks with the CNN/MSNBC anchors: "she's a shoo-in, now to capture the Senate!" TGG moonbats: project, deflect......................accept.. TGG wingnuts: see: Husker.. Inaugurating-Coronation Day (Jan. 20, 2017) tickets on sale Friday at a location nearest you. "Missed again, motherfuckers....."
Sounds like Hillary is on the FREE college bandwagon now. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/286641-clinton-backing-tuition-free-college I wonder where all the free money comes from?
This was my point from yesterday. I've heard or read several people say this now. Encouraging. Because this was a bad, bad precedent.
your point made perfect sense and a lot of what was said in the public statement should come from the DOJ not the FBI..... but the reason Covey issued those statements was because having Attorney Gen. Loretta Lynch issue such statements a few days after a private meeting with Bill Clinton would've been a terrible look.
Agree entirely. It just really rubs me wrong, particularly when it involves the Federal government and the awesome power of DOJ. They can ruin lives in a blink and, in most cases, don't even need probable cause to do it. Only a handful of people have the means and stature to shrug it all off and keep plugging forward. If I thought this could be useful as an example of successfully beating back the ogre, I might find some comfort.
Nobody has the means to shrug it all off and move forward. Some people have a lot of friends and the weight of their combined authority outweighs the ability of the Federal government and the DoJ to destroy them. There is not a single individual in this country at any level of wealth and power who would not be reduced to jelly by the authorities in the absence of a lot of help when they were confronted. That's one of the reasons the Special Prosecutors are such a bad idea. What they do basically is destroy a target's associates piece by piece until the target is left alone and then they destroy them.
Many people believe that what Snowden did was a public service. The fact that the government announced a change in its policies that reflected on exactly the areas he exposed has furthered that belief over the years. Would you have called the guy who walked up to Hitler and shot him at a public rally in 1933 a murderer? What about if you knew what Hitler was going to do if he lived? What would you have called that guy then, after the fact?
Guess it tickled you the wrong way. A married man calling someone a little boner on the internet? The missus would be proud. I bet she supports that cunt Clinton
