No way he's going to the Knicks. That's a dumpster fire no one wants to get near.

I wish Noah had signed for 10 years.

The dumpster fire has been cleared up in my opinion. Im not a Knick fan, but the coach they acquired is really good and runs a pg centric offense. They got pieces and Westbrook is a perfect fit for the Knicks in terms of marketing and style.

Knicks got a shot bud believe it. BTW the Noah deal meh but better then the Dwight deal to Atlanta

The Knicks can make the playoffs with this roster. All they have to do is show significant improvement and they will be a desired destination for free agents, especially Westbrook if they move on from Rose.

Don't listen to me, I'm just trolling Knick fans. :D

But I honestly think that megalomaniac Jackson at the head of that franchise is the worst thing that could happen for them. I think he's so lost behind the times and doesn't realize it and it'll hamstring the team until he's gone.

I don't think the Knicks are a desirable place for top notch free agents to go and with all the money being available over the next 5 years there are so many more desirable teams to go to.

Carmelo is not attracting anyone to play there, when and if they get rid of him and bring in a bonafide star, then others will follow, I mean it's still the Garden and NY.

At this point, I agree, It's just not the right group of players to make it attractive enough.

If the Cavs can afford it I don't see why he wouldn't consider them. I'll wait for the cap heads to figure out the scenarios of where he could sign. I want the Lakers to go after Westbrook but if he's of this new Superfriends mindset it's not happening. If he is, Westbrook to Spurs or Cavs would be my bet lol.

The Garden will always attract players and Phil looks to be giving up on his I can make a system team win a title mission.

KP is solid and Melo can score. Add a passing big in Noah and i think they got something to work with.

The key is the head coach. He can attract FAs

People seriously over rate "The Garden".

No one has given a shit about "The Garden" in decades.

Players love to come to NY, bang the 10s and go home to their perfect lives not in NYC.

    And I'm a NY guy.

I know I've said multiple times I'm a KD fan before a Thunder fan, but I guess I was wrong. This makes me sick. What a cowardly move, by a guy that continually choked for my team.

Sad, truly sad. I thought KD was better than that.

    Go Westbrook.

Durant has no significant legacy at this point. What has he done that constitutes as a legacy?

And this is entirely different than Lebron to Miami.

What can you trade Westbrook for that provides a better foundation to rebuild around than Westbrook

Wouldn't it make more sense to simply add players to the team that help Westbrook?

You can't build around Westbrook if he's going to walk in a year's time.

Unless he's glad Durant is gone.
