Jets DL Sheldon Richardson suspended one game By Around The NFL NFL.com Published: June 30, 2016 at 12:53 p.m. Jets defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson has been suspended for the first game of the 2016 regular season for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy, the team announced. Around The NFL will have more on this developing story. Best news possible imo. I was expecting anywhere from 4-8 games.
I've never been so happy to hear about a Jet getting suspended. This is great news, I was bracing to lose him for 4-6 games. Maybe he can even get off with a fine on appeal?
As a Jets fan Im glad but makes no sense. Guys get more games for smoking pot than smoking pot, getting in a high speed chase while in the presence of a minor?
I wonder what his next moronic move will be and how many games it will net him. Dude is a hell of a player but also a raging idiot. I'd bet money this isn't his last personal conduct suspension.
4 games for weed and 1 game for putting a child's life in danger. Don't get me wrong, as I fan I'm happy, but this is seriously fucked up.
I think it has more to do with the repeat drug offenses than the actual drug. But yeah, the NFL clearly has terrible priorities when it comes to suspensions.
Don't agree with the decision by the NFL. He should've been punished more severely for his actions. Sent from my KIW-L24 using Tapatalk
I hope he shows a little class and does not appeal this. He had a kid in the back seat of the car for God's sake... one game is very lenient.
