How can I be mad at the team for not resigning Murphy? I mean Sandy & co gave us Chris Young, Cuddyer, Mayberry, De Aza. They are normally right on the money so I'm not mad.
Ugh. The Mets season is spiraling out of control. Soon they will be under .500 and out of the playoffs. So much for getting back to the world series. This team can't even win a series against bad teams... Hell they can't score more than a run or 2 per game. It's sickening. Letting Murphy go to the biggest rival was an epic fail. Time to put this year behind us and think about next year.

Thanks Alderson for not resigning the guy who was the SOLE REASON we made it to the World Series. Yes the pitching was good, but it was not going to be enough if not for Murphy's heroics. Alderson thought he was hot shit and knew something we all didn't, like Murphy didn't matter to this team. He was part of this teams identity, you don't mess with that! Thanks for signing Alejandro FUCKING De Aza, who let me remind you, was signed to be Cespedes's replacement! If not for Cespedes wanting to come back here (for god knows what reason) we would have De Aza playing every day! That signing was not brilliant on Alderson's part, it was compliance on behalf of Cespedes. Sandy should be kissing his feet for signing here. Who the hell thought David fucking Wright would play even half a season? LOL. What a joke. Don't worry though, Jose Reyes is on the way, he'll save this unatheletic shit ball club. Have we stolen a base this year? I guess Alderson didn't think the pitching staff would be taxed from last years deep run, in the era of Tommy John surgery. How about you go out and get some bats instead of hoping that all 5 of our starters are going to pitch shutouts every night!
