Really disappointed that it almost certain Jose Reyes is coming back. Not even sure he's a better player at this point than Dilson Herrera.

Jame Loney has exceeded my expectations.

Matz doing his best Niese impression.

    Wow Matz wtf?

8 hits against in an inning has to be a team record..and it wasnt even a whole inning.

I guess we should be expecting an elbow examination tomorrow.

Loney is a hell of a 1st basemen. Throw it anywhere and he gets it.

    Big game from him...

Waiting to hear from Matz, and that he's okay.

The good news is Robles looks like he's found his groove. On the other hand Bastardo has no command and is walking too many people.

TC said he was alright. Probably just a fluke inning. If you didnt see his reaction in the dugout after he was pulled , it looked like he didnt know what the hell happened to him.

Robles has been huge the last week. 2 wins credited to him. Bastardo has been a pretty big disappointment. Was expecting much more from him.

Your right, I want to get excited about it because I loved Reyes when he was here, but I don't see how he fits into the grand scheme.

    Wow.....

Looks like Nimmo's up and Conforto's down....Aaaaaand, Jose Jose is back.

I still want a piece, and expect one. A solid major league hitter to reinforce the lineup and cover Ces or hit at the top.
I just hope the Coupons aren't looking to chince out on that

Kinda shocked that Conforto got demoted. Hopefully it does him some good and he gets back here quickly.

Excited to see what Nimmo has to offer though. Its obvious that he can nothing left to accomplish in the minors.

I'm a little surprised too but maybe he goes down, settles himself and we call him up mid-July and he provides a spark again.

Jose addressed team as to why he beat his wife saying simply "She wouldn't fucking LISTEN!"

There were knowing nods in the clubhouse and backslapping all around.

That's likely the idea. He's a mature kid, still a kid tho. Let him take a step back and regroup. He might've hit a wall and started to press a little.

Nimmo looks like he's matured from that kid out of HS. It may have taken him longer to mature than Conforto and hopefully he can keep progressing.

I think Jose is gonna come with something to prove. He's not what he was 8 years ago, and maybe banged up a little. But he can still play. He's 33.

I'd like a guy that comes to play, and a little less of the histrionics. Just play.

Sad, but not surprised at all Conforto got sent down. I'm sure he will be back in no time, better than ever. Hopefully Nimmo can do for us what Conforto did for us last year. I'm sure Jose will get a a hero's welcome.

That would be disappointing. The same I dont he should be booed for it , I dont think he should be cheered either. If he does things to help the team , cheer him when that happens. But if he receives a standing ovation in his first game back (which Im sure will be at home cause thats the way the Wilpons probably already have it set up) it wouldn't be a nice look.

I still hope the team is considering Gourriel. He's a true 3B. Reyes could eventually be able to play the position (he's probably already equal to the butcher that Flores is) but I'd much rather have Jose as the super utility guy and have Gourriel as our starter going forward.

Not holding my breath for that though.

Yeah I don't want to see him anywhere near 2nd. I love the chemistry between Walker and Cabrera.

Plug him in at 3rd and move Flores around on a rotating basis.

He's playing in Brooklyn tomorrow. Coney Island's gonna get some extra fans...

Looking to see him at 3rd there I would think.
