COnsidering that Scotland has the majority of the natural resources in the UK, I wonder if England will let them seperate now that they are no longer part of the EU while most of Scotland wanted to remain in the EU?
this is just another highlight of the failures of liberalism and why you should not fuck with or underestimate the Silent Majority. In November the Silent Majority in the US will speak and they will elect TRUMP who will put the best interests of America and its people first.
Now the US markets open up in the dumper. I wonder how much they'll recover before the end of the day. On the other side of the pond two years has been designated as the time frame to negotiate terms of the withdrawal but many doubt it can be done in that time.
I picked up 60K of GBP/USD at about 1.3350, it just hit 1.3500 on the way up. I would be a buyer on US equities if there's a big drop. This isn't the end of the world life goes on and the UK is still a world economic powerhouse.
From what I heard the experts say yesterday before the polls were opened, the main reason Brits would have decided to leave is, they wanted to have the right to make laws that kept Muslims and refugees out of the country. As it stood before, they had to accept the laws of the Union they were part of, now they can establish their own laws on banning Muslims and refugees. This is what I heard them say, I'm not trying to pick a fight or saying it's the truth, just what I heard the experts talk about, before the polls opened.
He's a liberal from New York who has been a major Clinton donor in the past. You've said so yourself.
holy shit cameron resigns. Northern Ireland and Scotland voted heavily to remain, most of England and Wales were the strong leave votes. Maybe the UK could finally break apart over this
A whole slew of Europhiles, Eurozone leaders and snooty news dinks on BBC and SkyNews this morning looking a mix between sad and angry. It's like some yokel served them overripe Camembert and they know they have to be polite and choke it down.
On a related note, I see Led Zeppelin convinced a jury they didn't rip off Stairway to Heaven, yesterday. Tough break. I don't care either way, but that would have been a really interesting two-fer.
