    I feel like this a teachable moment.

    You see how those Irish fans address the Swedish fans after Sweden won 3-0? It's good natured and backhandedly complementary.

    So I think you are looking to say something like: "Enjoy your fine whisky and ale! Enjoy your fine whisky and ale!"

    I assume you mean "spotted dick". I'm not quite sure who the cheer would be aimed at though - perhaps a Jacksonville Jaguar reference? Of greater concern is that it might be misinterpreted as something vulgar.

    We'll keep it on the back burner for now.

    Ireland drew 1-1 with Sweden and lost 3-0 to Belgium before qualifying by beating a second string Italian team 1-0.

    Irish fans enjoy the "craic"
