The only thing that is difficult with adding new teams is how do we negate the advantage of keepers? When we started the league I was a proponent of whatever keepers you keep, you lose that round draft pick. For example, ODB in the 2nd would force me to lose my 2nd round pick and Beckham would slide into that spot. This allows the newer members to have a second round pick where I would lose mine. If we just allow each team to keep 3 players then draft from the start those newer players would be at a disadvantage.
So, despite the fact that the league has re-filled with the guys from last year, I'm considering letting this thing go. It hasn't gotten the attention I feel it should be getting, and it's almost a lock to have new owners in the league, making the keeper aspect (the whole point in the first place) a moot point. I want this to be a TGG exclusive, dedicated keeper/dynasty league. I have bumped this multiple times, and gotten next to no response. I haven't gotten a single new person looking to join. To the existing members, just a heads up that I may gave this the ax, unless somebody wants to co-commish, and recruit.
Well we had 8 last year and 2 more want to join so 10 could work. 8 was just too much of a joke IMO. Teams were stacked.
I see you. My attempts at bumping this thread hasn't really worked for getting the last renews done, or getting any new members. Maybe I should edit the 1st post?
Yeah or try and tag whatever Gang Green members didn't renew in a post. See if they want to renew with us or quit. I am definitely down to start up a fresh league if need be.
We might as well do that. The people that aren't in yet don't have team names that match their TGG name.
