Warriors deserved to lose the way they played offense the entire game. Forced far too many bad shots, not enough easy shots. Congrats to LeBron he definitely wanted it more Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
Green missed one game; Cavs won 4 games. I think you may be ignoring some pertinent information with this statement. Cavs needed travel days to win this Chanpionship, now there is correlation. 4-0 in the finals in games following travel days.
Steph Curry becomes NBA villain because his attention whore wife, goes cold in finals, Irving hits three on him for the game winner. Nobody could have predicted that narrative. I could almost make a case for Irving as MVP except LeBron made some defensive plays that were just incredible.
There can be no case made for anyone else for MVP. LeBron led all players in points, assists, rebounds, steals, blocks. That's unprecedented dominance. Kyrie was the second best player in this series though.
Too many excuses being used to discredit the Cavs, they had their full complement of players this year, Irving made some huge shots, as big time players should do. Love finally showed up and cleaned up the boards nicely with 14 rebounds. Lebron was great, they denied everything in the paint and the Warriors became one dimensional. The Cavs defense was excellent the second half and did not allow the Warriors to score from the paint. Congrats to the Cavs on a job well done.
Agreed. Rest days??? That's the lamest excuse I've heard yet, right up there with Ayesha Curry complaining about it being "rigged." This series tilted when Bogut went down IMO, but I'm not discrediting the Cavs at all. Unbelievable, legendary series win. LeBron cemented his legacy, finally. I think he's on his way to no.2 of all time, just behind Jordan.
Obviously LeBron was MVP; I think I stated in this thread he should be win or lose game 7. My comment was more about emphasizing how great and meaningful Irving was. I would have been more shocked had he missed that three than I was that he hit it.
I think it was when Lebron showed the game down more and found his jumper and rhythm. Warriors failed to adjust and that's on Steve Kerr.
You're a fucking moron. I'm the one who brought up rest days so you can only be referencing my comment which certainly wasn't made as an excuse. It's a fact -- the Cavs won all four travel games with the extra day off. Is that why they won? Obviously not but you can't ignore the fact that it happened. Of course, the fact that you are even remotely interpreting the mentioning of it as an excuse reflects your head is so far up your ass you aren't ignoring it, you can just see it with your polyps in your eyesight. You're such a horrible poster you can't even make rational posts about the NBA finals.
I am not going to be rational about this. This is the equivalent of the Patriots winning the superbowl for me.
Yeah, there is pretty much zero evidence to support this. Green could have easily had a bad / mediocre game. Plus he was there for the 3 other loses. Live by the 3, die by the 3. I feel that the Cavs would have beat them last year as well if they had Irving.
Anyone hating the Cavs to me is just code for hating LeBron. What other real reason could anyone have to hate them as a franchise? And hating LeBron as much as the Pats is just silly.
Warriors were too aggressive at the 3 ball, more aggressive then normal, and they didn't take smart shots. They wanted to go for the kill each and every play. I still think the Warriors win last year, but who really knows. Warriors could've won this year and the Cavs could've won last year too. I guess there needs to be another finals between the two teams to settle it!
