Wow you had to do all that to get your LTC???? New York State? I think a problem is that in some states far, far less is required and what you had to do would seem unreasonable to them
Does an AR-15 have the stopping power to take down a deer? I'd read that it doesn't, although it will be useful against small game like fox and coyotes. I'm lead to believe the really useful thing about it is that it is very light and manageable and doesn't have the recoil of a larger gun. So it's basically easier for the average idiot to use. Which would seem to explain certain phenomena. But I really don't know anything about it. I don't want to advocate profiling against this firearm if none of that is really the case.
This is what I remember from my gun expert friend, some of the details may be iffy but I am remembering, if I am wrong someone can correct me: It would take down a deer for sure depending on the bullet used. Problem is that the best accuracy and highest velocity (which most use in AR 15) comes from the small caliber, lightweight .223 round which I would argue is immoral to use in deer hunting because it wont drop the animal right away. (and in some states its illegal to deer hunt with that caliber b/c of this) The absolute worst thing about hunting is hitting a deer and seeing them run away and struggle. That's why they say its more practical for small game because the ideal rounds used, especially in terms of accuracy are better suited for smaller animals. There are variants however that can put out various caliber bullets which run the gamut from the small caliber I described all the way up to high caliber which would leave an AR 15 and blow the deer's heart all to shit but also ruin the meat. Depending on the model and the caliber of bullets though, an AR 15 can be used effectively in deer hunting. -- What you say about being light, manageable and easy for the average idiot to use is absolutely true. I can't shoot worth shit myself. It takes me forever to sight in my shotguns to where I am accurate enough to feel comfortable hunting. Last summer we are just drinking beers and my friend pulls out his AR 15, we set up some targets. I put ear phones on and I seriously couldn't even tell I was shooting, first time with his gun ever and I was accurate as fuck.
We aren't programmed to simply act without thinking. Our thoughts and beliefs dictate our actions. Control how people think you will control what they do. Now you want to rethink the dumb fuck argument that liberals don't want to control what we do. It's the very point of trying to control how we think.
I understand people want to discuss the AR-15 - just want to make sure you all know it wasn't what was used in this shooting.
I will never argue with making fun of the poutine region of Canada. Joking aside they had a mass hooting in the 80's. Some sexist asshole opened fire at a university because he didn't like women being educated as engineers. It's one of the reasons we have the laws we do. It's really just common sense. A weekend course on gun safety and a background check. Once licensed walk in, the gun store makes sure the license is legit and you are good to go.
You have Obama among other liberal leaders labeling any real discussion about limiting Muslim immigration or building a border wall as divisive and/or racist rather than making actual points. And there are good points to be made but they'd rather label an entire group of people as racist to discredit them. You ever hear Obama or warren talk about the details of why such a strategy wouldn't work? Rarely if at all. As far as liberals trying to limit speech look no further than all of these college campuses where conservative speakers can't talk without threat of violence. And of course, it's the speakers' fault http://www.theblaze.com/stories/201...h-on-gays-and-islam-heres-the-reason-offered/ http://abc7.com/news/ben-shapiro-escorted-from-csula-due-to-angry-protesters/1219358/ You have people like me who think Donald Trump is a total dunce but are considering voting for him because we are tired of the media and celebrities and politicians constantly blaming everything but the problem because they don't want to offend everyone
I was just being a wiseass, that isn't mine. My guess is that's a tactical flashlight trigger. Either that or the rocket launch trigger.
As a result of the Kentucky case, the State Department stopped processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011, federal officials told ABC News – even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets. One Iraqi who had aided American troops was assassinated before his refugee application could be processed, because of the immigration delays, two U.S. officials said. In 2011, fewer than 10,000 Iraqis were resettled as refugees in the U.S., half the number from the year before, State Department statistics show. http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/al-qa...terrorists-country-refugees/story?id=20931131 Fourth, the Secretary of Treasury [State] and the Attorney General will invalidate all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States, effective today. We will not reissue visas, nor will we issue new visas, except for compelling and proven humanitarian reasons or where the national interest of our own country requires. My friend was almost killed at the club. This is him speaking to the news yesterday in the link below. These incidents really only happen with this frequency in America among the modern world countries. https://www.facebook.com/7NewsMiami/videos/10153742537807613/
