The first book mentions early that both Jon Snow and Arya resemble Ned, while the others resemble Caitlyn, then later talks about how Ned and his sister looked alike, and later Ned has an internal dialogue about how much Ayra is beginning to resemble Lyanna. But the answer to your question is yes. The kids at Winterfell even call her Arya Horseface.
Some good stuff in that episode. I don't like the getting rid of trial by combat...seems like the mountain isn't going to be much use now.
There's no way they make him a super freak or kept him alive just to have trial by combat turned down. There are lots of things I am looking forward too and I know most of it won't be concluded in this season. 1) Boltons v Jon and the Wildlings --> I definitely think Baelish and the Knights of the Vale come to their aid in the middle of the fight 2) Dany vs the Slave masters 3) Arya returning to Winterfell will probably take place in the next season 4) I'm probably alone on this one, but I wonder where Sam is going with his Father's valyerian (sp?) steel sword 5) Cerseii vs the Sparrow/Tommen --> Does she reveal that Tommen isn't the true king and did her little birds find Gendry (sp??)
A lot of people are convinced that the secret is to wildfire but I'm not so sure. They know there was wildfire since they used it at the battle of blackwater. Maybe they don't know that there is more but that seems a little silly to me, is she going to burn down a huge section of the city? How is that going to endear her to the general public who revere the sparrow? It would just make him a martyr and increase the influence of the faith. In my opinion Cersei's motivation is to tear down the sparrow, she generally wants to get dirt on her enemies to get leverage over them. Seems more likely that she has dug up some dirt on the sparrow or looked into some issue with the faith that she can bring to light to discredit them so the people won't support them any longer. What that could be, i don't know, but that seems more in line with her character.
I can totally see Cersei standing on the balcony and watching the city that humiliated her burn to the ground.
Maybe. She's got pretty much nothing left to lose at this point, especially if she feels she's already lost Tommen.
I always wish the seasons are longer, but then you see an episode like this. I mean I wonder how much did this episode alone cost to make. The production was just awe inspiring for a television show. Felt like it was given the budget of a blockbuster movie.
Who would've ever thought that Sansa would be the only Stark that isn't half a retard trying to get themselves and others killed.
One of my favorites episodes I have ever seen. Probably the best genuine stylistically battle ever put on television. Closest being the one from Vikings in season 3 (yet to watch season 4) But mah goodness, that episode was epic. Jon being able to survive everything leads me to believe the luck factor involves him being Azor Ahai and just the chosen one. Most would have died.
He's calculated and made the right play there, he is a true bandwagoner. However, he is shady...I can see Sansa fuck him up too
This weeks episode felt like a big Finally!! Also, please refrain from book discussions.... u have a thread for that. thanks
