Mandatory minicamp starts Tuesday. If he's not signed by then, I don't see any reason he would in the time between minicamp and training camp when there are no team events. So if this doesn't come down in the next day and a half, we're stuck with another month of this.
So, what's everyone think about the Fitz situation? Should he come back, or should we move on? How much should we pay him?
With how long it's dragged out I've sort of developed an indifference for the situation. Leave the offer as it is. If he decides to come in, cool. If we wind up starting Geno, cool.
I absolutely will NOT respond who the fuck does Fitz think he is we better not cave to him I am so done with him and I refuse REFUSE to talk about him. _
We should look into re-signing Tebow. He never got a fair chance here with weapons. Let Hack sit behind a proven vet for a year to learn accuracy and footwork from Tim.
Or message board training camp love affair studs like Brett Ratliff and McElroy who never got a fair shake with good receivers.
One hour after Fitz signs everyone on here that's been screaming for his head and for Macc to move on will be talking about how good our offense is gonna be, maybe even playoff bound! Moral of the story is it's ok to be frustrated and so forth, but we all know the moment he signs we'll all feel a lot better about the season
I wouldn't count on that, have you looked at the schedule? Anybody who thinks we are winning 10 games this year is crazy with or without Fitz who is meaningless anyway.
Ian Rapoport ✔ @RapSheet Update on the #Jets situation with Ryan Fitzpatrick: Nothing. … Just nothing. Doesn't seem like things will change heading into minicamp.
Yep....and if he doesn't we should all rally behind whoever is behind center because he is a Jet, first and foremost.
