Perhaps the evil gov't can get them to switch from Meth to Ginseng. More profitable and legal but still dangerous as anything that involves cash usually has danger associated with it. I lived in So. Zona and they had open carry there too. You couldn't bring it into banks or bars and local business had the option to allow or not to. No carjacking and very few home invasions. Then again, the town was just outside an Army base and all of us were ex-military.
I lived in Bay Ridge Brooklyn in 1985-1987. Mob area. No one locked their doors or cars and no one ever had any issues. Like ever. The week we moved out some outsider was found hands taped bullet in the head in the trunk of his car in a park near the Verrazano Bridge. Apparent died of natural causes. Those guys take care of their neighborhood. _
