Ha, personally I would love it if Sanchez succeeded in Denver. I would actually prefer that he succeed over Lynch so I don't have to hear about how we missed out.

Hopefully Hackenburg turns out to be great, and stops trying to be football's version of Rick Ankiel.

Agreed, I'm outside Denver and hear great things about Pax all day and then turn to the NY media for Jets news and it's all bust talk. Hopefully it's just a Denver media vs NY Media thing, overreactions from both sides. NY media hates the Jets, Denver media loves the Broncos.

If it makes you feel any better, Denver just broke off contract talks with Von. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...tract-talks-with-miller/ar-AAgNUMZ?li=BBnb7Kz

Do we need to live with this whiny outlook forever? The NY media would like nothing more than a ten year run of Jets playoff appearances with a couple of Lombardis thrown in. What the complainers hate is that when their baby is ugly, the NY media has no problem identifying it as such. Cosell had a phrase for that.

Of course. At least they picked a guy with some football IQ and looks to be a genuinely nice kid.

    Bullshit
NY media would love nothing more than Jets changing FO every 2-3 years while keeping "unnamed sources" free flowing. Combine this with any Giants success and that's how mehtas, costellos and ciminis are being spawned.

They said the same thing about Sancho though when we drafted him.

To make a case, you'd need to show the guys you're taking about reporting things that aren't true to begin with. Then you could show how they downplay Jets' successes and overplay the failures.

exactly... reading defenses well didnt really help hack much at penn state. accuracy, especially in todays NFL where the short passing game is slowly replacing the running game, is paramount

I think folks here that never saw him play a down in college took too much comfort in an article or 2 and a video breakdown excusing his inaccuracy.

I hope like hell he can improve.

His game against AUB was atrocious and that's the closest he's come to an NFL competition. I don't see any evidence of promise here. Hack is a better bet.

Don't they have an UDFA ahead of him on the depth chart?

I think we just have a shitty beat that blows everything out of proportion

Nope. All evidence you need is clear bias and unbalanced negativity. All of the writers I mentioned are guilty of both, although to be fair Cimini has been getting more reasonable since Rex left town.

Then it should be real easy for you to throw a few examples up here. Gimme some clear bias. Show me unbalanced negativity. And make sure it's not simply "tellin' it like it is."
