    wow, overtime

    overlooked in this playoffs:

Michal Neuvirth was incredible against the Capitals in the first round

if he had been brought in earlier than Game 4, good chance Philly takes out the Capitals

Why the hell would you post this now so randomly? Haha. Makes no sense. Hypothetical too. He was great, but Caps already had a 3-0 lead. Hard to know what would have happened if he started the series. Caps would have found a way to win though.

As for the SCF: Awful to watch. Pens domination so far. If not for Jones, Game 1 and 2 are blowouts.

I was going over stats during the game last night. It was a long game.

Neuvirth had a better series (albeit in 3 games) than any goalie had.

Capitals had a lot of chances and shots but he kept coming up huge.

Logical conclusion is Flyers would've won the series. That is of course assuming he would play at a similar level in other games.

Oh okay, I got ya now. Yeah, he definitely was great. And yes, if he played like he did from Game 1 on and continued to the whole series, he would have stolen the series for the Flyers. Hypothetical like I said, but I can't disagree.

Great Sharks win! How about that game-tying goal from Joel Ward? Nice. Game 4 is huge now. Sharks could go from the brink of a (3-0) deficit to a series tied at (2-2) after Game 4. And agreed @Jake, The Shark Tank was ROCKING all night long. Even when the Pens were dominating. I am not sure a crowd can will a team to victory, but if it can, the San Jose fans did tonight.

Joel Ward is a monster in games that count. Not sure why Nashville and the Caps let him walk. $3.3m/per for his game is good value imo.

Old saying goes , series doesnt start til the home team loses. Nice to see SJ get a much deserved win. They could've easily won either of the first 2 games. Just didnt get the bounces.

Get it 2-2 and we got a series..and knowing the Pens, most likely put Fleury in the net for a Game 5. Which would be very good news for the Sharks.

Lol if they ditch Murray at this point they deserve it imo. He's been amazing.

    Go Sharks

Agreed. But that is what the Pens do. I'm not going to guarantee that it'll happen if they lose Game 4, but I think the topic we'll atleast be brought up in NHL circles and it wouldn't shock me if they caved into that talk.

    I hope they do atleast.

Just off the top of my head I can think of 2 great Joel Ward playoff goals for the Caps. 2012 Game 7 OT goal to eliminate the defending champion Bruins and 2015 Game 1 goal against the Rangers with a couple seconds left in regulation to give the Caps the win.
