doesnt matter how he looks in OTAs. Petty threw 6 TDs last night in madden. thats all that matters. this INT is nothing
Geno looked sharp today at OTA's. Still remaining cautiously optimistic, but having solid starts goes a long ways.
Not much action other then that today so far. Connor Hughes @Connor_J_Hughes 1h1 hour ago On 4th and 13, Hack fired a rocket on deep in to get first. Followed with nice, strong out route to Ross to get #Jets in FG range Won't post the stupid drama with Fitz and the receivers not showing up.
I don't see any way Geno gets cut this off-season, he's got a shot at starting for sure. Right now, I think Petty is the odd man out if Fitz were to resign. Right now, I wonder if Petty can be trusted as a backup
suppose they decide they don't want to keep 4 QBs. and I agree its likely Petty is the odd man out. Do you think we automatically lose him or is there a chance we can keep him stashed on the PS? another option I suppose that is Petty or Hackenberg sustain a phantom injury that requires them to be put on season-stashing whoops I mean season-ending IR.
If Fitzpatrick doesn't return, Petty might be competing with Hackenberg for the backup spot. Right now and I hate to say it but I don't think he beats out Hackenberg. If Fitzpatrick returns I believe they'll carry 4 QB's.
I personally think Petty would clear waivers, unless Rex Ryan has a hard on for him. I feel confident he would make it to the PS, and barring any injuries with other teams, I can see him staying on the PS. However, I think your IR option is best specifically for Hackenberg because he needs a red-shirt year. He has only 1 type of pass and that's that super hard ball. Only thing is a player on IR cannot practice.
I know it's early, but Geno Smith is light years ahead of both QBs. Petty should've at least shown something by now in OTAs. I also think Hackenberg would beat Petty, but right now that isn't saying much. If Fitz doesn't come back, Geno will start and we should sign a veteran backup and look to put Petty on the Practice Squad or Hackenberg on the IR.
Well to be fair, you're not supposed to deflate balls to a grippable PSI in cold weather during the playoffs or video tape other teams signals but....
Bunch of nubes chased him away with their criticisms--his screen was hawkeyejet or ballhawkjet or something similar.
lol huh? Your post makes zero sense. Me using a term from a particular decade has nothing to do with seeing someone else on the board using a term and thus repeating it over and over again. But again, with your education level and lack of proper English skills, I wouldn't expect you to get that. Lets try this......when you grow up and can create one post that has proper grammar and punctuation I'll respond more appropriately. Until then go back in your hole, or Geno's hole or whichever hole you've been sniffing around in.
a few players I'd be interested in getting updates on in OTAs Amaro Big Cat Williams Marcus Williams Clay
It says that Petty is going to be a nothing in this league and Hack is going to go through a looong developmental process possibly amounting to nothing. In any case, I get its the offseason and this is the only shit happening, but OTAs are so meaningless it's unbearable how some fans put faith into it. I'm not hating in the discussion over it, but this stuff really means nothing to most if not all of these players. The only players OTAs can really truly help is guys looking for camp invites.
