3 religions that absolutely loathe each other. i wonder how long it took until 1 of the 3 took the lead in explaining why their way is the only way to salvation. no way that thing goes off without a hitch haa haaa
I remember the same exact thing in my youth group. It was all about getting with the girls and doing things that the church frowned upon.
Idiot. Jesus, Jose, Jose-B and Miguel are all hungover from Cinco de Mayo. Never go to a Mexican restaurant for a few days after the fiesta.
I look forward to the day we find out the truth... That God is an alien race with a hive mind that has dimensional transport ability. Being everywhere and knowing everything. I also will enjoy watching their little naked grey bodies with no reproductive organs trot around looking like deformed midgets, they'll be so cute.
Science says this doesn't happen. http://www.newsday.com/long-island/...stigated-for-sexual-abuse-of-minor-1.11799041 The Marianist Order says it is "credible."
I had my first interception in High School against Chaminade 10th grade. Thank the Lord I didn't get fucked up the ass by those priests for doing that. _
Another anti-gay priest outed on Grindr. http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/n...-dating-app-grindr-now-on-leave-34713529.html
That's actually not true, at least not anymore. As a Catholic, I can tell you that we consider Jews to be our brothers; we are closer to Jews than to any other religious group, since we share the same foundation, the Old Testament, and much of our histories overlap. The only difference is that we consider Jesus to be the Savior and they don't. But Jews and Christians are very much partners in the world today. We need to work on our relationships with Muslims, but as that article showed, progress is being made. But again, what's most unfortunate is that CNN and the rest of the mainstream media dig deep to find the rare exception that is not flattering to organized religion, while overlooking the tremendous amount of good organized Religion does in the world. Organized Religion is the greatest supporter and promoter of the values and ethics that we all share. Without that standard, we tend to backslide...just look at the filth in the media protected under "free speech", while actual speech at Trump rallies is attacked and violence by his opponents condoned. (and I'm not a Trump supporter myself, in fact I can't stand the guy and his childish bragging and name-calling, but that still doesn't excuse mob violence) ...I do appreciate though how your reply was good natured and humorous, I chuckled reading it. Thank you for showing what this thread can be; people disagreeing in a respectful way. But just to clarify a common misconception about the Catholic Church - while we do believe that we have the fullness of truth as revealed through the progression of religious history to date, we also believe that God works in mysterious ways, and that people who are not introduced to these realities, or who don't know the truth through no fault of their own absolutely can be saved. Basically, God judges us by how we live our lives based on how we were raised, what we have been taught, etc. Of course He would not condemn good, peaceful Muslims, or Hindus, for example, living in other parts of the world just because they have not been introduced to Catholic Christianity. But I am grateful to have been raised Catholic because it has given me a sense of spiritual peace and joy that I did not have before I embraced my faith fully as an adult. In other words, I can now draw on the Catholic education I received (from my parents and Catholic School) and now as an adult I have come to fully appreciate it.
Organized Religion is the greatest supporter and promoter of the values and ethics that we all share huh? And just what would those values and ethics be exactly? Having the decency to use astroglide when bending over another victim? Making sure the blade you're using is as sharp as possible for cleaner head lopping? Treating women like cattle? That adulterers should be put to death? That its ok to sell your daughter into slavery? That if your daughter isnt a virgin on her wedding night that she must be stoned to death on the doorstep of her fathers house? That God repeatedly advocates mass murder? I'm just scratching the surface here. I'm all ears, please enlighten me.
I wonder why would such anti-women sentiments were to become a part of the dogma. I thinks maybe people who wrote them in were homosexual sadists? Maybe even focused on underage targets...
