another rout by the home team

most of this season's playoffs have been unwatchable blowouts

Why the hell is playing basketball in your home arena such an advantage? It's incomparable to any other sport

I agree with this sentiment. I hope the Thunder destory that back stabbing, front-runner in Cleveland. To watch this ovveratted Cavs team win the title would make me sick.

This is the first time in franchise history the Raptors have trailed by 30 at the half -- regular season or playoffs (via ESPN Stats & Information).

Craptors outscored in every quarter, and none have been particularly close.

I think Golden State probably wins tonight, but given the last two games in OKC, winning there is going to be tough.

If Thunder own the end of the 2nd Q again I think they'll win tonight's game.

The problem is when Curry slumps it usually doesn't last long. I don't seem him having that bad a performance as last game. If ANY team can comeback from this, it's the Warriors. It's never over until it's over. They are backed into a wall right now. Let's see how they respond tonight. The team had the best record in NBA history, I don't consider it unlikely in the least that they come back.

My personal opinion is because of the free throws and the distractions fans use during them. I've always thought home field/court advantage is very over stated in most sports, but in the NBA it definitely is not.

maybe the players have markers throughout the arena which help them aim. I honestly don't know lol

home advantage is due to the refs

analysis of home vs. away FT shooting (only independent measure, really) shows there's no difference in performance, and that holds true for the places that try to distract FT shooters (no one does it better than Houston).

home teams get more calls than road teams

with that said, what's happening this playoffs is still well out of the ordinary.

I hope OKC wins tonight. Just something about Golden State has irritated me over the past month. I point most of the blame towards the media. The coverage and conversation about Steph Curry over the past month has completely turned me off.

Role players/secondary guys/bench players/young guys generally don't do well on the road out of their comfort zone. Generally.

I've enjoyed the Warriors success in a history making season, but I've really gotten sick of them in the post-season.

They're starting to remind me of the golden boy team, team that can do no wrong, and always has everything go their way.

You really that much of a douche to say something like that after the ref reports from the Spurs series?
