Both of these guys look like an improvement not only in hang time, distance and directional punting, but tackling as well given their Aussie rules footie background. This is one of the biggest areas of improvement for the Jets this offseason. Sad but that's how bad Quigley was last year.
to speak the obvious the jets must feel edwards is the better prospect since they drafted him and not hackett--all things equal the draft investment is usually chosen over the free agent.
will have to catch that on repeat, as i've been curious about Westhoff's take. Edwards has a real live leg. I think they should give him a look on kickoffs too. give Folk's leg a rest to focus on placekicking. If Edwards can kick it off well, that would give him a big advantage in the competition.
