I know change is sometimes difficult to deal with , but wasn't it nice last year not dreading to see our offense come on to the field. I know Fitzy isn't a top 10 QB, but for our team he can give us hope until we get someone ready to take over. Anyone who wants to see Geno out there starting is a fucking moron.

Fitz is only playing poker with himself. The Jets know his hand since nobody else wants him. He can't bluff he has nothing to bluff with.

But your talking about a 3 year guy to a 11 year guy. And Geno didn't have Marshall like Fitz did. So both of those makes a difference.

You bring up how many years each has been in the league as if Geno should be given some leeway because he was not in the league as long. I don't care how long each has been around, I care who gives the team a better chance to win.
Marshall would not magically make Geno start being smart with the ball.

Ahhhh Zace with the old "you don't even understand football, I understand football" internet winner of an argument.

    Pathetic.

His QB rating, Comp. % and YPA were all near his career average, besides the high number of TDs he really didn't have a stand out year.

Yeah, the "If the LB would have run faster he would have had the INT" argument was where I decided it wasn't worth it.
I guess we can expand on that, If Fitz would have thrown it higher and further to a faster running Kellen Davis who after he did a spin move on the safety would score a TD.

I don't think I claimed Fitz was great or even very good but when dudes say "he sucks and I showed you proof and used logic, prove me wrong" and they throw out the same tired article that uses no proof and no logic, at some point you realize that poster is just an irrational and hysterical Genobot so it's no use having the discussion.

Yeah, the LB was only running half speed, if he was running top speed he would have picked it is lolworthy.

You Geno haters can say he dumb, but the fact remains he a QB in NFL so he must be smart enough. If he so dumb then what it say about Jets GM and coaching staff if they are keeping him? In fact he was the starter until IK punch him.

Try not to take this the wrong way, but you may be the least persuasive person ever to offer a critique on someone's relative intelligence.

Being a QB in the NFL does not mean the QB has any amount of brains, many QBs are taken in the draft purely based upon physical traits but, and this is a big but here, I did not call Geno dumb, I said he was not smart with the ball. An INT every 24 passes shows quite clearly he is not smart with the ball, Fitz' INT every 30 passes, while still not good, is much better.

He is still on his rookie contract, that is a big reason he is still around so not sure why you think it is a big deal that he is still on the roster. If he is still on the roster next season then you may have a point but that time is not yet here.

Yep, I had another post where I said Fitz had a great supporting cast along with his experience with Gailey's system which helped him have a good year. Another poster proceeded to jump on me because in his words, "he had an average season not a good one". The joy of the off season.
