How is it that if Fitz is so bad he averaged 14 starts per season with a passer rating of about 85 for 6 straight seasons? Truly bad QBs don't do that.
I was going to say yes they do do that for example Ryan Fitzpatrick and then I realized your "averaging" his stats is a bit misleading seeing that 4 of the last 6 years his rating has been below 85. How about this? Truly good QBs don't start for 4 different teams in 4 years. Sorry to say it but the Fitz nuthuggers are worse than any on here that have supported any of the other maligned Jets Qbs of the past (Chad, Sanchez, Geno etc.) -- They really cannot see the forest from the trees and realize that Fitz just truly isn't very good and he is not going to help the Jets win games. Investing in Fitz at this point will only set this franchise back not move it in the right direction.
He set the all time TD mark for a Jet QB 31, he's the greatest ever, or at least that's what most on this board think, the sooner the FO moves on from Fitzpatrick the better.
I never said Fitz is truly good. I said he isn't bad. There's a middle ground you know. Which is why I want him back for something closer to Chase Daniel money than Sam Bradford money. Also, I find it annoying when fans can't recognize the different between okay and bad. It's especially hard for me to trust your judgment on any QB when you lump Chad in with Sanchez and Geno.

Guys that want Fitz back won't read it or care unfortunately He has no business starting for a team that has winning and making the playoffs as a top priority.....as a backup and mentor fine, he'd be good in that role
I read the article and still want Fitz back. All I saw there was 26 of the 562 passes Fitz threw this year with some commentary. Unless the author wants to annotate more than 5% of Fitz's passes, cherry picked mind you, he needs to go back to the drawing board.
