By this logic Champ should just quit watching football. How much do you wanna bet that when Jets win SB he will be the loudest "I always believed" pony?
The better analogy would be that those who want to cut Geno relinquish the right to cheer. For the record, I do not want to cut Geno.
Its only 40 -1 we go all the way so I am all in As far as Fitz goes it will be almost comical when he rejoins this team...what an Opera hes putting us thru
how long is chan gonna be here lol. he's really old and already stepped away once. He seems like he's all in for developing these young qbs though. He's like the QB Yoda.
64 is "really old?" It's not even full retirement age. He's not loading trucks or working in a coal mine.
I wouldn't anyway, but the season could fall apart for more reasons than because Geno is the starter. There could be any number of reasons for that. I don't want to specify them so I won't possibly jinx the team, but it doesn't take a lot of imagination to figure out what they might be.
And if Fitz is the starter do we still have the right to complain if he plays like the journeyman he is?
Damn I'm older than that and can still walk and think and talk. Isn't that what even young coordinators do?
What did Gailey do with Thigpen? In that one year he had 6 games with a completion percentage of 50% or lower, 4 games between 50-56% and only 4 games over 60%. He put up an astounding 186 YPG. The record in games he was QB, 1-13. He was neck and neck with JaMarcus Fucking Russell in QB ranking. Well he did beat out Shaun Hill and J.T. O'Sullivan though. The only reason Thigpen was even playing was Brodie Croyle and Damon Huard got hurt. Thigpen played so well that he never got another starting gig, hell he has only thrown 86 passes in the 6 seasons since. I ask again, what did Gailey do with Thigpen?
QB Yoda now? This is getting comical now. Who has Gailey worked wonders with before Fitz? And I think with Fitz it was more about the supporting cast.
