Topher Grace was a bad Eddie Brock, there was really nothing wrong with the way venom looked or acted. The only downside was that he was only in it for about 10 minutes.
I hated his face pealing back so much to talk. It was terrible. To each their own though, but that is one of, if not THE worst super hero movie of the last decade.
Topher was a disaster choice...adding sandman was a disaster choice. That movie tried to scramble in everything...oddly enough it's the same crappy BvS did. Oh and the musicals totally killed spidey 3
Yep. Great comparison. Spider-Man 3 was actually more fun than BvS though, because we can't forget the "James Franco acting handicapped"scenes. They cracked me up at least.
Slightly on topic; watched Fantastic 4 last night. Not the disaster everyone made it out to be. The editing made the story feel rushed, and the ending left a lot to be desired, but it was an interesting idea. I wonder how much studio interference ruined the movie.
Michael b Jordan left fox to sign with Marvel for black panther effectively ending any hope of a sequel for that trash. But fox will re do it in 10 years or they lose the rights
Playing Human Torch is the "sure fire" way of getting into an actual Marvel movie. Fox will strike a Spider-Man deal with Marvel to take over the development of the F4 as soon as Marvel wants it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if The Inhumans got bumped from Marvel's Phase 3 plans because they are already working on it. Now we can only hope the horrid looking X-Men Appocolypse sets in motion the end of Fox's X-Men films and Marvel gets some creative control back over those.
No way they ever give up the rights, just strike the same type of deal Sony did with Spiderman. As soon as the box office for their X Men films decline they will. Appocolypse has the potential to set that in motion.
I don't think Marvel will get the entire X-men but they likely will work a deal out for Wolverine once Hugh Jackman is finished which will be in 2017 when the last solo Wolverine film comes out. They'll likely recast the character and use him in phase 4. I'm guessing they wind up getting the entire Fantastic Four and make their villians the primary focus after Thanos. The MCU needs Galactus.
Saw it friday night. It was great-- very entertaining. way more so than BvS. Loved spider-man, black panther, ant-man-- everyone really. Great cast. Beginning and end were a little silly, but you gotta expect that from a superhero movie
Height and build. I always thought Jackman was a poor choice, although he tries really hard. Hardy has been a good actor in a few movies, but I think he's only as good as his director. It'll be pretty easy for him to fuck it up if he gets that role and it's some moron running the show. I just googled Tom Hardy Wolverine and realized there are a shitload of sources about him being a possibility. So much for calling it.
