I can't get over that, as per the article, Luck has a flip phone.

BS sees the same attitude in Luck as he saw in the other QBs he coached...Drew Brees, Brett Favre, Philip Rivers.

I bet none of those guys would ever give any credit to BS for what they did as QBs.

BS is like a cockroach, he will be the only one left after a world ending nuclear war.

I hope he likes useless motion. Nothing throws off a defense more than splitting the fullback out wide and running him into the backfield to block.

Sucks for him that in addition to no protection he also has to worry about 7 guys motioning pre-snap.

The problem here is, Schottenheimer is only a QB coach.

The OC here is Rob Chudzinski - yes, he is THE master, as in, Brian learned from THIS moron.

Hence - my postmortem. QB killing tag-team in town, I told ya above.

“You hear how smart he is, but you really don’t realize until you’re in the room and you’re around him how truly smart he is,” Schottenheimer told reporters Tuesday. “I don’t mean just smart in terms of knowing plays but how he sees things. He’s got unbelievable football IQ.

If he is really that smart, Andrew will get out before the shit hits the fan as it always does.

Why would they? Every one of them got better once he was out of their lives.

We know that, it was the article that implied that he somehow was involved in their success, heck Brett Farve was finishing off a HOF career when he had a working relationship with BS.

I think that's even a generous way to put it. Favre didn't listen to Mike Holmgren and company when he was 25 and receiving play calls from a Hall of Fame staff, why would he listen to a dumbass who is the same age as him?

Has Andy re signed a long term contract?

    It not...

Think the kid leaves after the season, #1 free agent next season

Overthecap says this is his last year in Indy. I'd say he's #1 free agent next season too.

If he does come to the FA market - what should the Jets do? Let Mo walk and grab this kid?

The entire team would have to walk for the affordability...... though its an interesting thought and one where not having a number 1 guy may, just maybe, put us on his short list of destinations..... maybe this is woody's shot to get that big arm here in ny.

And - Jets are a team that has *almost, anyway* everything EXCEPT a QB. If he comes to NY and pans out - Jets only need to fix OL and CB next year and they're ready for a post-season run for a few years.
