SA with some missed open shots and missed FT's in crunch time. Green getting tripped into Durant didn't help but Popovich was wise not to bellyache about it ("these things happen to everybody") - focus on game 6. Ain't over till it's over imho. Can't see a battle tested, experienced SA just rolling over.
They are not winning 2 straight games. It's over. Now the question is can thunder defeat GS though? Sent from my BLU LIFE ONE X using Tapatalk
I was way off when I thought SA would make easy work of OKC. Westbrook went all out. But can he duplicate that performance? Every time I think I know where the series is going, it goes the opposite way.
SA losing twice at home in one series when they lost once at home in the regular season, and that was to GS. Hard to fathom. OKC@SA during the regular season: Sat, Mar 12 @ San Antonio L 93-85 Tue, Apr 12 @ San Antonio L 102-98 OT
It's tough as hell for a team like Portland to put up 120 in back to back games and lose both. They have a hell of a back court and with the addition of a big time center along with some better ball movement can be deadly. The bench is solid, they could also use a wing defender that offers more scoring throughout the year than Aminu does (although he scored well in the playoffs). A young version of Deng/Iguodala would be great for this team. As soft and big of a pussy as Dwight is, this would have to be his best landing spot.
lol, i knew there will be an article on this : https://www.yahoo.com/news/internet-went-crazy-steph-currys-133308086.html
I'm nervous as HELL for tonights game.. Honestly... spurs stink in close out games... once you figure out pop and what he's running, they really go from bullies to punks. That's why they are 2-10 in close out games. Danny Green admitted after the last game that pretty much okc figured them out and made them play a freestyle offense (an OKC offense). Green said that we've figured them out so well that even our bench players are calling out the spurs plays to our starters, & that we "already know what's coming". i've been trying to think of the last time OKC lost a close out game at home, and i can't think of one.. maybe when we went 7 games with the Grizz a few years back.. i know we never lost after having 3 wins in the playoffs. Still and all these are still the spurs, and still the thunder.. which means a very disciplined team is still matching up against a team that some times shows up and other times don't. I'm not writing the spurs off.. but i'd really like to get this over with so we can go play these good 5 games vs. GS. P.S. KD STAYING
