Now I know I'm an idiot here but can you please explain to me how exactly you ended up with $350 on that trifecta? Did you key Nyquist or something?

I only ask BC I hit the trifecta too and I didn't really win too much because it was mostly chalk.

I thought gun runner would win. I put money on the win for him. I thought I had it in the bag when he was leading the race as he was supposed to be a closer. So much for that lol. Good show bet though congrats

Probably half a furlong would have done it. He did have a lot of driving around to get through the pack to where he could go.

I boxed the trifecta for 4$ for a total of 24$. It paid out 86.70 for a 1$ bet for a total of 346$. What did you bet on the trifecta?

wow nice going. I get it now. I made the mistake of boxing multiple horses. I boxed 5 horses, the three winners among the 5. For a $1 bet that was a little too rich for my blood so I dropped it down to a $.50 trifecta bet. The total bet was $30 , I won $43.35 haha. Not exactly buying rounds for people with those pitiful winnings but it was the first time I've ever hit the trifecta. Sounds like the plan of boxing multiple horses might not be a good one unless some long shots get in there and win.

Early lean on Suddenbreakingnews at Pimlico. He had a horrendous trip in the Derby and was charging like a freight train coming down the stretch.
