I watched it last night, definetly a fun movie and basically a comic book fan must be giddy seeing all these guys on one screen. I agree, I felt overloaded with comic book movies. I also can see why critics like the movie way more then BvS DC has to get that fixed asap.
Movie was amazing this Captain America series is the best comic book movie trilogy of all time. Iron man believe it or not was my favorite from the movie. Made you really want to support his side. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
No way man...Nolan's trilogy cannot be messed with. The first Captain America movie also put me to near sleep at times
I can say the same about TDKR. Cap series had better fight scenes, and a more put together plot that flowed better IMO between movies. BB and TDK were great movies as well, but I think the First Avenger was better then TDKR. Red Skull was bad ass.
TDKR is a disaster. I'd watch the first Captain America again over it any day. I'd call Batman Begins and The Winter Soldier a wash. But it will still take a flawless Civil War to trump the greatness of TDK and make it a better trilogy than TDK trilogy.
I really liked TDK. Joker was great, and the plot was exceptional. Civil War was close to perfection [some plot holes, etc], but the TDKR brings that entire trilogy down and an awful way to end the series. The Cap series didn't have 1 bad movie. Civil War, have to say they handled it perfectly --- everyone got a piece of the pie w/out taking the full glory away from Cap.
Dude civil war wasnt anything close to perfection. No offense, you can like it, but it wasnt anything close to perfection. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Considering everyone thinks TDK was perfection, I would easily say that Civil War is right there with it, if not better
I think TDK is a good movie. I dont think its great either. This movie doesnt even touch it. If you had any complaints about BvS, you have no argument here. Its literally the same damn plot essentially. Super hero vs super hero while chasong a ghost manipulative villian. Only thing is this movie doesnt even attempt to set up the plot and there arw way too many holes. And Spider-Man is nothing more than a superfluous cameo. Its not a terrible movie dont get me wrong, its not a great one by any stretch. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
I didn't get this impression about the movie at all. I guess it takes a lot to get you going, but CW definitely the matched the hype. Your comparison between BvS and this movie is bad dude. BvS had no developed plot, as with this movie every character there was some sort of development within the timeframe of the movie. The movie is near flawless and only the most minor nitpicks could begin to detract away from it's greatness. There are barely any plot holes in the movie and Zemo's plan was excellent --- I don't want to spoil the movie until Cman gives the OK. Black Panther excellent, Iron Man Excellent, Bucky / Falcon had great chemistry --- Spiderman had just enough spotlight as well.
Just got back from seeing it and it was everything as advertised. BvS isn't even in the same league as this movie either in EFX or Plot. I like how Marvel interleaved several new characters into the plot line. I was wondering if that Ross was the same former General Ross from the Hulk. Every hero had his facetime and really, the only complaint I had is that I had to see it in 3D to get good seats. Because of all the fast action, this movie is better served IMAX or 2D as the action scenes in 3D at times were blurry. Not to spoil this but don't bother waiting for the after credit snippet. Nice lead in to a new franchise but IMO, really not worth the wait. See the movie in IMAX if you can. Take the kids too.
That wasn't a super hero trilogy. That was an eccentric billionaire with cool gadgets running around in a black suit. While the movies were excellent, Batman was not portrayed as a super hero and more of a vigilante. Hell, even Frank Miller can't stand the way he's portrayed. He walked out of the theater in the movies claiming: “I have my own ideas about what the characters are like,” explained Miller. “I mean, I can’t watch a Batman movie. I’ve seen pieces of them, but I generally think, No, that’s not him. And I walk out of the theatre before it’s over."
