Apparently Aberg was benched. Makes no sense to activate a guy and then not use him. and twitter agrees: The Predatorial @ThePredatorial 3m3 minutes ago Said this last year with Fiala but if Laviolette doesn't trust Aberg he shouldn't have played. Playing with 11 forwards is hurting the team. Charlie ♣️ @Jones36 13m13 minutes ago Charlie ♣️ Retweeted Derek Neumeier Everyone looks for Pontus Aberg.... I thought Chris Cuthbert was just delirious.
Oh yeah I'm a dope. I haven't told my girlfriend the stadium is in Jersey yet. She is getting dragged along unless I can attach myself to a TGG tailgate group. She's not happy about it. Don't know how that Marleau wrap around at the start of the period didn't find its way in.
Shae Weber with two absolutely terrible and unnecessary penalties so far in OT. Cross checked a guy in the face while he himself had the puck, and then dropped a Shark in front of the net who didn't have the biscuit.
I had a yahoo fantasy lineup for tonight's games. Might've put up the best score in the history of yahoo nhl, despite using the wrong goalie for the Stars game. 88.9%Brian Elliott DAL 3@STL 2,Final OT 25 SV, 3 GA 12.9 0 6.5 55.6%Pekka Rinne SJ 3@NSH 4,Final 3OT W, 44 SV, 3 GA 10.6 0 22.0 33.3%Paul Stastny DAL 3@STL 2,Final OT 21:41 TOI, G, 8 SOG 5.6 0 14.0 33.3%Mike Fisher SJ 3@NSH 4,Final 3OT 37:33 TOI, 2 G, +3 +/-, 5 SOG, 4 BLK 3.8 0 27.0 33.3%Patrick Sharp DAL 3@STL 2,Final OT 22:19 TOI, G, A, +1 +/-, 7 SOG, BLK 7.0 0 20.0 66.7%James Neal SJ 3@NSH 4,Final 3OT 38:59 TOI, G, A, +3 +/-, 8 SOG 7.8 0 24.0 44.4%Filip Forsberg SJ 3@NSH 4,Final 3OT 34:46 TOI, -1 +/-, 3 SOG, 4 BLK 7.4 0 5.0 55.6%Shea Weber SJ 3@NSH 4,Final 3OT 49:07 TOI, +1 +/-, 2 SOG, 7 BLK 7.7 0 11.0 22.2%Roman Josi SJ 3@NSH 4,Final 3OT 49:42 TOI, A, 5 SOG, BLK
Mike Fisher, gets game winning goal and goes home to Carrie Underwood....some guys just get all the breaks.
I fell asleep in double OT. Congrats you guys made it through! Great series. Stars and Preds did what the Caps could not do: even the series. Will the Isles tonight? Find out next!
Thriller tonight at Verizon Center! Caps force Game 6 this Tuesday in Pittsburgh. Another impressive win for the Blues too. Sharks leading in San Jose.
meanwhile, Nashville about to go down 3-2 in the series they're kind of screwed since it'll be difficult for them to win game 6 at home, let alone game 7 in SJ
I may be wrong, but the caps need to try something different on the PP, they have plenty of good offensive players that can score, stop feeding Ovie, it's getting too predictable and easy to stop.
They scored 2 PP goals last night, including the classic Ovechkin shot, but yeah I know what you mean. The Great 8 has been rolling the past couple games though so I don't mind if they keep feeding him. Same here.
tune into game, Sharks immediately score second time this series that's happened looks like sharks to the WCF
