5 of the top 10 picks did not have their options picked for the 2013. We lucked out and also got Richardson, who could arguably be one of the best players in that draft.

 

I think I might actually set up multiple duplicate accounts for the sole purpose of liking this post over and over.

always interesting to review which picks were a success, and which weren't.
safe to say that after 3 seasons, you can get a very good gauge of at least the first round, based on the 5th year option decision.

would be a good thread in the draft forum to re-review all these selections, and compare to the collective TGG thought process pre-draft.

 

Milliner is a Wildcard like Mac said. The guy showed (small sample) that he has the ability to be a very good cover corner.

He's just got to stay healthy, and following Revis around probably wouldn't be a bad thing.

 

Idiot Idzik takes Millner in first round at CB. Next year he reaches for CB Dexrer McDuck (who?) in round three. Neither is worth a crap. However, superscout Terry Boobway is on record stating "Dexter McDougle is the SMARTEST cornerback in the draft!" That and a dollar may buy you a bag of chips.

Good point, may I add that of the top 10, a few names were brought up by many on this board as a great fit for the Jets...Joeckel, Lane Johnson, Barkevious Mingo,Jonathan Cooper, and Chance Warmack to mention a few. No one of these set the world on fire, in fact significantly underperformed, so we are not the only team that apparently screws up at every turn in the eyes of a few forever unhappy Jet fans.
