I don't think that he has "moved on" from Petty. I think he's just hedging his bet, trying to insure that he winds up with a quality young starting QB, if not a franchise QB. Hack is also more NFL ready than Petty in terms of having played in an NFL-style offense, making multiple reads and changing plays at the LOS.
Mac tried to trade up for Tunsil, but was unable to strike a deal. I wouldn't rush to judgment. Just because he thought the D players were better values or BPAs where the Jets picked doesn't mean he doesn't believe in drafting OL. He also traded next year's 4th to get Shell.

True enough. I think Gailey is truly against receivers that aren't gigantic. It's a flaw in the scouting process IMO, and I was very surprised when we took Devin Smith because he doesn't seem to fit what Gailey likes.

Lee possesses less than ideal body size for the position. Darron lacks strength at the point of attack. He can be swamped under or overran by offensive lineman with an inability to shed blockers.
Jordan Jenkins could very well be a steal for us value wise (3rd round). As teammates both Leonard Floyd and Jordan Jenkins caused havoc as Georgia Bulldog OLB's, although Floyd has received most of the attention. Floyd's listed as being 6'6/244 lbs while Jenkins is listed as being 6'3/259 lbs. Floyd went during the 1st round (9th overall) while Jenkins went 3rd round (83rd overall). Statistically speaking Jenkins production compares/ranks right up to that of Floyd's college production. During their final two sessons as Sophomore & Juniors Leonard Floyd combined for 127 total tackles (56 solo), 17 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks along with 3 forced fumbles/2 fumble recoveries compared to that of Jordan Jenkins who combined for 128 total tackles (57 solo), 19 tackles for loss, 9.0 sacks along with 4 forced fumbles/1 fumble recovery. Two different styles of play but both shared very similar numbers/production. From my understanding Floyd is much more versatile/athletic while Jenkins is much more stronger/touger. I'm also assuming that Floyd put up better combine numbers than Jenkins which is why we seen the differential in draft status? Nonetheless we're receiving nice value with Jenkins going late 3rd round. Was ranked as a top 5-8 LB coming out only behind the likes of Myles Jack, Noah Spence, Reggie Ragland, Jaylon Smith, Leonard Floyd, Darron Lee & Kamaei Correa. Top 10 for sure. It's hard not to like this Georgia kid out of the SEC in Jordan Jenkins. Who's on field production matches that of Leonard Floyd who was just selected as the first LB off the board...

I don't think anyone is claiming he isn't on the smaller end of the scale, just that LBs are getting smaller and faster and can be compensated for behind massive DLineman (which we have). Who's the asshole who turned this into another Lee thread? Just stop. Jenkins seems like a solid and smart OLB who will be able to set the edge in our base 3-4. He doesn't have the burst or speed to be a dominant pass rusher, but should be able to get the occasional sack on blitzes and in picking up the scraps left over by our DLine, Maudlin, Lee, Pryor etc. Having a safe, stay at home OLB seems to be a perfect compliment to what we have with Maudlin. I like the pick a lot and hope it pans out.
