refs missed an obvious offensive foul at the end

Spurs got the ball anyway, but an ugly end as they couldn't get a good shot up

    98-97 OKC final

Pop's gonna get fined for going after one of the officials after the game.

when I said all season, I was referring to the regular season (looking at regular season stats), forgetting about looking at playoff stats.

0/16 during the regular season. 2/2 in the playoffs (didn't attempt one against Memphis).

Nobody likes a clusterfuck like that, and I'm not sure what happened exactly, but my guys held on, and now I await the inevitable game 3 home letdown.

Regardless they still got the ball. Not sure why they rushed it like that or they're shooting a 3 down by 1 regardless if it's open. He took that shot with what 7 seconds left?

Idk, but I can't believe the bitching I heard over it. Okc played better overall in the full 48 minutes.

I have to admit the Spurs are the better team still, and I'm not too optimistic about winning the series, despite taking this game.

SA just very discombobulated at the end. Offensive foul would've at least let Pop set something up.

Final 10 seconds were a total mess.

It's a shame that's the way it ended, because the whole 2nd half was nail biting excitement.

The refs did good by not calling anything at the end because both teams did things wrong!

    1. Ginobili stepped over the line.. should've been an automatic technical foul, OKC foul shots and possesion back.
    2. If Ginobili isn't draped all over the inbounder he would have never gotten elbowed.
    3. The elbow could've been called against waiters
    4. Kawhi was holding Westbrooks jersey when Russ got the open lane to the basket (which also forced waiters to throw up the panic pass)
    5. Danny Green tackled KD on the inbound pass.

NOW, after the inbound and STEAL, Spurs had 10 seconds left and a 3 on 1 fast break with nobody under the basket. Spurs had the easy lay up or dunk to win the game and decided to pass out to Patty Mills behind the arc (lol????) .. where he then threw up a near air ball.

BLAME YOURSELVES SPURS! STOP THE COMPLAINING! YALL CHOKED! IT HAPPENS.. OKC DOES IT FAITHFULLY! WE'LL MEET AGAIN!!

That last sequence in the Spurs / OKC game was comical. There were probably like 7 different uncalled fouls on that series. Kenny Smith sounded extremely butt hurt, just repeating himself over and over. He's right that refs need to be better with that in the clutch, even though he got the call backwards. I hate how so many refs let all kinds of stuff go in the last possession of a game. The rules are the rules. Ginobili should have been called for a foul instantly when he stepped over the line, no ifs, ands, or buts. Funny thing, it might have actually helped the Spurs if they got it right.

i doubt it would've helped the spurs... If they were to call that on Manu it would've been a technical foul.. KD most likely knocks them both down.. we're up 3 then.. and get the ball back.. most likely to get fould again and go up 5.

They helped the spurs by not getting it right.. Danny Green threw a shitty pass and Patty Mills had shitty awareness of the situation at hand.. Mills had the lay up.. passed out, just to air ball a 3. lol the lay up wouldve won the game or forced OKC to try some bullshit forced shot.. westbrook probably would've pulled up from 40 lol.

Hey don't be logical, we all know the refs GAVE the game to the Thunder because they definitely weren't the better team last night, and they definitely didn't have BS calls against them too, but let's just acknowledge the New England, I MEAN San Antonio Spurs, because they're God's gift to the world, and obviously can do no wrong ever ever.

Seriously, every media outlet I've heard/read is up in arms about how the Spurs got screwed, but if you actually read the facts about the missed calls, (like you did) you would see how the Thunder were screwed too, but they won the game so let's bitch right?.. SMH.

lmao!!! exactly.. i mean honestly it kills me that OKC didn't win that by double digits.. it should've been at least a 6+ point win.. i think we went up double digits three different times that game.. let them back in it each time. I blame my guy Mr. Westbrook just as much as i credit him that game.. He went full blown 2011 Westbrook on us mid-third and when he got back in in the 4th.. playing out of pure immature emotions.. i was so sick!!! I'm glad KD yelled at him to get his head back in the game.. just like Russ had to do multiple times to KD in the dallas series. Glad they overcame that and got the W... I feel like we almost HAVE to win the next 2 at home now though.. long shot but it's happened every time we played them in the playoffs.. we win our home games!
