    Um whut?

    2000 Finals
    Shaq: 38/16.7/2.3/2.7
    Kobe: 15.6/4.6/4.2/1.4

    2001 Finals
    Shaq: 33/15.8/4.8/3.4
    Kobe: 24.6/7.8/5.8/1.4

    2002 Finals
    Shaq: 36.3/12.3/3.8/2.8
    Kobe: 26.8/5.8/5.3/1.5

Shaq has arguably the best peak ever over that 3 year span. It's not even arguable. You may have a case in the league MVP over Nash in 2005, but so do LeBron and Dirk. Kobe didn't even finish in the top 3 of the MVP voting in either of those years.

You're way off base there, chief.

That's the type of loss, when the Spurs are done dismantling them this series, that could send Durant packing for the Eastern Conference saying "fuck this shit, I'd rather deal with the Raptors and Cavaliers for the next five years."

I think the Spurs are gonna win the entire thing again.

That win last night was incredible. Parker and Duncan combined for 10 points, Parker with only 2. And yet they scored 124 points and absolutely destroyed OKC.

With Curry dealing with his ankle and knee issues, I can see San Antonio coming out on top of this whole thing. I'd be very happy for Aldridge. Guy deserves a ring

Washington is called his name. Hometown, with two young superstars already on the roster? I'd bet Durant signs up reallllly quick while Westbrook bolts to LA.

I don't think the Thunder come out flat like that for the rest of the series, and it's hard to imagine Aldridge being as unstoppable again as he was last night. He couldn't miss.

Hell, even Danny Green was hot last night, and he's been a hot mess on offense since the season began. The Spurs get cold just like any other team.

I think the rest of the series is a lot more competitive, and whoever wins will still have to deal with the Warriors. GSW has a far far far better P&R defense than the Thunder put on the court last night.

Yes it's the same stats the stats head used to give Shaq those Finals MVPs trophies but the same stats they threw out the window when Nash won twice and Dirk won once. The argument there was you can't give the MVP to someone on a bad team. OKAY THEN. When Shaq was on the bench in the clutch moments, Kobe was hitting the shots that counted, lol. Kobe in those years was beyond unreal. The fact that those teams even made the playoffs should have gotten him the MVP.

Let's look at yet another aspect. Kobe and Shaq together have TWO MVPs between the two of them. TWO. Okay? Shaq had to share his too. If that's not fucked up I don't knwo what is. The MVP is a joke.

    http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/15413839/miami-heat-say-forward-chris-bosh-indefinitely

Chris Bosh and his wife appeared to break weeks of silence about his status with the Miami Heat with social media posts Tuesday that reaffirmed his desire to return to the court. But the Heat restated their position that there are no plans for him to play.

Bosh's wife, Adrienne, who is active on social media and in the Miami community, started a #BringBoshBack hashtag on Twitter on Tuesday and retweeted several members of the media discussing how the Heat miss Bosh in their series with the Charlotte Hornets. Bosh himself later posted a video on social media of him shooting in an empty AmericanAirlines Arena with the message "Still got it."

The coordinated effort followed the Heat's two losses to the Hornets to even the series 2-2. Bosh was in Charlotte with the team but has avoided interviews for months.

The two sides have been in an unusual stalemate since March 10, when Bosh released a statement from his personal public relations firm saying, "I remain positive that I will be able to return this season."

Following the posts, the Heat repeated the position they've held since February, as spokesman Tim Donovan told ESPN: "There is no update. He is out still indefinitely."

They look like they could take a series to 7 against the Cavs with a healthy Bosh. Is there some type of financial insurance risk the Heat take if he plays or do they think he's going to drop dead on the court based on the doctors diagnosis?

Bosh offered to sign a waiver clearing Miami of liability but they still won't let him play. Odd.

The risk is that he drops dead on the floor and him signing a waiver won't matter as the media onslaught would be insane against the Heat.

    Not worth any risk.

I'm not sure Bosh would help...Our team is playing better with only 1 big on the court at a time.

Not going to happen. It's either OKC wins or SA wins by less than 5.

Imagine how good OKC would be if they actually ran plays. They win 50+ games every year with Westbrook and Durant playing hero ISO ball. Donovan is a good basketball coach but he was the wrong hire for this team.

I'm not sure why the front office thought these two megastars would listen to a guy who has coached 18 year olds his entire life.

I love Westbrooks fire, but imagine Durant with a pure distributor? I also never understood why a team with such a great pure shooter doesn't run more pick & roll with those two. He would feast in a pick and pop. Not to mention Durant should be living in the post every time he draws Danny Green/Mills/Parker/Ginobili.

    Aldridge hadn't made a 3 all season.

Ibaka jumped into him as he pump faked a 3. Aldridge hits the 3 FTs.

He actually made his first in Game 1, and made his second in this game.
