It's not a great loss if we have a mostly successful season (picking towards the end of the round) and have a comp pick in Round 4.
Hell. we went OT. They must have let an intern mind the controls until they got back from their liquid lunch. Thank you intern, somebody had to do it. Goodbye Breno Giasuckocomini.
It's just another case of mortgaging the future....Jets always trade away too many picks and never get the value other teams get in return for trades. Just bad.
Buffalo got Johnathan Williams RB I liked him a lot. Dixon to the Baltimore too. Ravens & Titans are both having a solid draft
If we are going to pick a CB projected for the 6th round with a 4th like this year, it is no big loss.
If you want a pick this year you gotta trade one round higher from next year to do it. The price of a pick today > one next year, that's why the Patriots always do the trade a second rounder now for a first next year trades. I mean we're talking about an early five and we're getting a crapload of comp pics next year anyway.
How does taking a OT with a 6th round grade in the 5th automatically mean we ditch Breno. Wishful thinking
The Jets must not think highly of this RB class since they signed 3 RBs during free agency. Luckily, next year is loaded at RB.
from what I gather we traded a 4th for a future RT or G in Shell. Jets need to gather picks, not lose them.
Where do you get your info? We will be Lucky to get one pick http://overthecap.com/compensatory-draft-picks-cancellation-chart/
From everything I read Shell was ranked as a UDFA/7th rounder with a RT ceiling and probable backup. Not worth trading a 4th for.
We traded into the round to grab a lineman and didn't take Westerman. Man this is painful. Btw Jeremy Cash, Jatavis Brown still available
I know they have their own draft boards and all but do they even look at where the quote unquote experts have people pegged to go. Awhhh just so frustrating. watching your team draft like crap and then they guys you want get drafted over the next few picks. like we were right there and you effed it up
