I'm going to go look at that. Gruden is great but he loves everybody before the draft and so I've stopped watching a lot of the QB camp. I really liked the piece he did with Zac Dysert, where he was critical of Dysert and watching for his reaction. This will be an interesting comparison.
and there's a slew of good receivers still on the board. Texans have given Ost some really explosive targets.
If they really wanted Hackenberg after the first round then the 51 was the place to do it. With QB you are always taking the chance that somebody snipes up once the draft gets into the late 2nd early 3rd.
Nick Vigil just went to the bengals. Great pick wow this is soooo weird... Sean Davis to steelers.. Spriggs to GB. So weird. All the good teams are picking my favorite prospects. Too bad the jets are one of the worst teams
We have had a good draft. Have your judgements but only time will tell. Hackenberg does have some redeeming qualities that absolutely can't be taught at this point. On a side note I LOVE Jordan Jenkins. What a great pick. He is a hell of a player. Great addition to the defense.
Bengals having a great draft. It's still weird for me to see them drafting well, but they have been for a few years now.
I'm really glad it's not Hackenberg. I was a bit worried about that one given the Bill O'Brien connection.
Garoppolo is 3rd year this year. The Pats may not be ready to re-up him and they have no 5th year option since he was a 2nd round pick. It's wise to have another young guy on the depth chart in case Brady actually lasts a couple more seasons and they lose Garoppolo as a result.
Come to think of it I wouldn't be surprised if they try to go the Ryan Mallet route and trade Garoppolo for a 2017 pick in camp this year.
If Garoppolo plays well early, he becomes a trade chip. Parcells and Weiss are really big on Brissett. Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero 7m7 minutes ago Jacoby Brissett been a Bill Parcells project for some time. He told "his people" about the kid during draft process. Belichick in on it..
