We are light years ahead of last year when we had Coples and Pace as starting LBs. Coples should never played one down at LB however Rex Ryan is stupid. Pace was over the hill years ago. Lee brings so much more speed and athletic ability to the position.

Wow. What insight. Were you inside the war room? How else would you know any of this unless or is pure bs speculation to confirm your opinion about the player.

What qualifies you and Bobby Fucking Slowik to consider yourselves some kind of jackass experts? Should we be more impressed with the opinion of a guy who hangs the tag "analyst" after his name? GTFOH!

The more time some socially compromised asshat spends in his grandmother's basement cruising the internet, the more apt he is to be a self appointed expert analyst at PFF, or PFFT! as the case might be.

Todd McShay's Mock draft actually flip flopped the New York team's picks. He had Lee at #10 to the Giants and Apple #20 to the Jets. Loving this pick more and more by the second!

Listen how often do these so called pundits get it right? Better yet how often do the NFL teams and scouts get it right. Its perfectly fine to hate a pick and also to fall in love with them. But the Jets history says proceed with caution. We did not need this kind of pick this high in the draft. I hate the best player available crap. The Jets lost a OL that anchored his spot for 10 year. The rest of the OL outside of Mangold is not good. Sorry no easy way to say it. We have no starting QB nd yet they went and drafted a tiny ILB that is not a good tackler and right now a one down guy. Sorry again but we are not that deep in talent. 8 years straight we have taken a defensive player, its getting old and so is our offense.

McShay sucks. I miss Joel Buchbaum may he rest in peace. He got it.

AH OK, because I thought he said does not need which is a lot different then will not need. Tough to say if he makes it to that 2nd contract. Sad story with him and Smith. I think Jack did this so someone can go up and grab him and stop the free fall.

Its all relevant where have you been. Let me guess new Jets fan? Be wary of those combine warriors that rise. This guy is not a LB. He's a pumped up safety something we don't need. His tackling not even good for safety so once again I ask what role does he play. I'll tell you he will a special gunner. Way to Mac/Bowles wasting a 1st round pick on a pecial team guy that doesn't return punts or kickoffs. Oh you want something a little closer than 10 years? How bout last year Devin Smith. Couldn't catch a cold last year. Stay away from Ohio St players.

I just watched three of his games and I'm not a fan ... He quits on a lot of plays

    Hopefully that changes

im over where we took the guy and now just glad to see him play in bowles system. he is a good fit.

would like to see a pass rusher today early on to pair with him. if we got spence today that balances it out, id be happy with those 2 had it gone in the opposite order so hopefully he slides and we get him

Yes I'm a new Jets fan.

I've had these damn season tickets showing up every August since 1999, met Namath at Hofstra before the 1969 season, but I'm really a new Jet fan.

Oh yeah, I partied with Mike Mamula one night in Syracuse back in the mid 1990's.

Not sure what he's famous for.

RIP Pro Football Weekly too. Couldn't compete in the internet age and losing Buchsbaum was a huge part of that. He was the best draft analyst for a generation of fans in the 80's and 90's.
