Can anyone address the pros? All I heard is fast undersized linebacker and all I think of is Aaron Maybin
Bucannon was exactly my thought as well. Coverage backer for TE and RBs I don't like it though. While it may help against NE it doesn't work against big teams. Would rather play Henderson or carter
Then I would love the pick. I doubt it since they could have done that last year instead of having Sheldon standing up.
Ain't that the truth. He sucked at edge rushing in college, the pros will eat him alive. Hell he is as small as a HB and smaller than all FBs.
I really like it also. The Jets speed at LB has been an issue for years and now they have a guy who can cover inside as well as go sideline to sideline on running downs.
lee is not an outside pass rusher. and while he has speed, he isnt a guy you can play 3 downs. we just drafted a nickel player. id be happy with someone like that in round 2 or 3. not at #20. we need 3 down starters. i hate this pick
So I guess we can confirm Mac like Ohio st guys... Can't believe we took Lee.. Unless we run a 4-3 from now on it make no sense.. How was he the BPA Mac?!?
FML. The Browns and Skins take the best WR's in the draft and we pick a coverage linebacker. What a fucking waste.
NFL defenses were in sub packages 65% of the time last year; so he will get a lot of snaps even if he does not start.
Wr isn't exactly a weakness for us. They may be the best in the draft, but that doesnt mean theyre great. This isnt a very good draft class at all this year. They took bpa and need so i dont mind. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
He's not Shazier ok stop it. And I would know, I made a mock that year with us selecting Shazier and I was all alone - everyone on here thought I was fucking nuts for being so high on him.
He had 11 sacks the past two years, he will bulk up on an NFL weight lifting program. He will be a three down player. "He's today's NFL outside linebacker. He ran a 4.47 40 at 232 pounds. He's a sideline-to-sideline, three-down linebacker. His weakness is if you cover him up against a big body, he will struggle." -- Mike Mayock
