You said that he would win in debates, and the majority of the debates he was in had a large field and when its a narrow field, he will get demolished.

keep dreaming that he can win you fucken tard.

Explain why Cruz would be a better candidate in a national election when he's getting raped by Trump across the nation in a REPUBLICAN PRIMARY

Only a damn fool would think Cruz appeals more to independents and left-leaning people than Trump and he obviously can't even win in an all right-wing contest

    Please try that one

Gotta love Trump trying to talk Sanders into running independent.

First I do not think anyone here has called Trump a "great candidate".

Second, you are smoking crack if you think the Jets have a better shot at winning the Super Bowl, while the chances for both are unlikely, Trump has a punchers chance, Jets have no sho

Do I think Trump will win? No, but just about everyone has counted him out at every misstep he makes and he keeps on trucking. People said is ceiling was 25% when there were 15 candidates, then 40%, then they said he couldn't get a majority, now he is topping over 60% in some races.

If the young and naive Bernie voters get disillusioned and decide to sit out of the vote on the general, the election can be far closer than people think.

Ted Cruz is playing basket-hoops in Indiana today like a real Indiana Hoosier. He takes the big orange ball and throws it through the ring. Just like that Larry Fish guy did for the Boston Celtics, another real Indiana man

How bout former republican speaker of the house Dennis Hastert getting 15 MONTHS for being a "serial child molester" (in the words of the judge).

But please, republicans, keep worrying about transgendered people's bathroom choices.

He just made the same mistake Reagan made in 1976 with getting a VP before the convention.

Felt it didn't need an individual thread. It's republican news.

    Have a good one.

When you know you're not going to win going in it makes sense to get the full experience beforehand, including picking a VP nobody else is interested in - which is the only kind who will hitch their wagon to yours at this point.

Cruz's campaign has been pure desperation since Trump did so well in the south early on. He has no natural constituency outside of Jesusland and to have a barely concealed atheist wiping the floor with him in places like Georgia and Tennessee must have been mortifying for him.

Unlike Reagan there's going to be no second act for Cruz, at least not in the GOP. He is despised by too many people in the party to be able to pick himself up out of the ashes and make a comeback.

It's not republican news, it's pedophile news. Unless you are arguing that pedophilia is a condition exclusive to republicans and no democrats have ever been pedophiles.
