Well fellas the Draft is just around the corner and this is my final mock draft! After watching a bunch of old games and considering needs for teams this is how I see the draft going down.

    1. Rams – Jared Goff, QB, California – I really can’t imagine the Rams would gamble on a division 2 QB when the more polished QB is sitting in their back yard. Goff is more pro ready, his quick release and anticipation throws make him the best option for the Rams. They don’t want to fall victim to the same fate as the 49ers when they took Alex Smith over the home town kid Aaron Rodgers.

    2. Eagles – Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State – Wentz is the biggest boom or bust prospect in the draft. He has the measurables and looks the part but will he be Andrew Luck or Ryan Leaf?

    3. Chargers – Jalen Ramsey, CB/S, Florida State – Chargers take the best defensive player in the draft that happens to be an area of need. Ramsey will step in day 1 and be an impact player in their secondary. With Weddle gone this year and Gilcrist the year before I think they put Ramsey at safety and don’t look back for a decade.

    4. Cowboys – Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State – Cowboys loose out on Wentz who they coached at the senior bowl and loved. They also knew he needed time to develop and could be a good one if he gets that time behind Romo. Instead they go with a huge area of need with a pass rush player off the edge. They didn’t resign Hardy and Lawrence seems to be always hurt. Bosa would be an immense upgrade and fits better as a DE in a 4-3 system the Cowboys run.

    5. Jaguars – Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss – The Jags are elated that Tunsil fell to them! Luke Joekel can be kicked inside to guard and now you have a true stud at LT for Bortles. In a pass happy offence, they need a LT that excels at pass protection and Tunsil’s game is best protecting the passer.

    6. Ravens – DeForest Buckner, DT, Oregon – The Ravens get that push up the middle they lacked ever since Ngata left for the Lions. Buckner will demand double teams up the middle giving Sizzle and Dumervil one on one on the outside.

    7. 49ers – Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis – Some might think this is too high for Lynch but if you think about Chip Kellys offence Lynch is the prototypical player. Lynch reminds me of a raw Cam Newton. He has great mobility, accurate short throws and a big arm on the deep ball. I believe the 49ers hope nobody jumps ahead of them for Lynch.

    8. Browns – Myles Jack, LB, UCLA – Browns take their QB on D. The talented Jack steps in Day 1 to run and call their D.

    9. Buccaneers – Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida – The Bucs secondary got torched last year and the local kid Hargreaves will give them a huge boost in a pass happy division with Newton, Breese and Ryan.

    10. Giants – Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State – The Giants beefed up their D in the FA market big time. In the draft I think they will look to give Eli another weapon in the 1st round. Can you imagine the Giants offence with Eli, ODB, Cruz and Elliott?! They would be a force in the NFC East yet again. Eli has missed a solid run game and Elliott is excellent in pass protection as well.

    11. Bears – Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia – The Bears get a true gem in Floyd. He’s a perfect fit as a 3-4 OLB in John Fox’s D.

    12. Saints – Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville – The big ez just got BIG! They need some push up the middle and Rankins is a beast up the middle.

    13. Dolphins – Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama – One of my favorite players in the draft and I hate giving him to the Fins… Under Gace he will be in a zone blocking system that is perfect for a 1 cut down hill runner.

    14. Raiders – A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama – Raiders bulk up their interior D with a run stuffing DT.

    15. Titans – Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame – Stanley slips a bit but the Titans feel they can stick him a RT and have 2 bookends for Mariota.

    16. Lions – Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss – Treadwell isn’t Megatron but they play a similar game. Lions roll the dice and give Stafford some help.

    17. Falcons – Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State – Dan Quinn comes from a system that loves their long corners.

    18. Colts – Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State – Luck got rocked last year and Conklin can step in day 1 somewhere along the OL to help protect him.

    19. Bills – William Jackson, CB, Houston – Jackson is the best press man corner in the draft and we all know how much Rex likes his press corners.

    20. Jets – Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame – Leonard Floyd is my dream pick for us but I doubt he makes it past the Bears.. I feel we will loose out on Conklin and Jackson. Fuller is a perfect fit for us in our offence, Marshall and Decker need a guy who can take the top off a D and keep D’s honest.

    51. Kamalei Correa, OLB, Boise State – Correa is a nice pass rushing OLB with big upside. Needs to work on stuffing the run but is good in coverage and can get to the passer.

    83. Scooby Wright III, ILB, Arizona – Jets roll the dice on player that has good instincts and a high football IQ. His athleticism and speed isn’t elite but as a ILB he has the best chance to succeed.

    118. Kyle Murphy, OT, Stanford – Murphy is a tough run blocker that would fit the mold at RT for us.

    235. Kenyan Drake, RB, Alabama – Drake can add to special teams and is a multi purpose RB with big time potential.

    241. Sedrick Flowers, G, Texas – Pure boom or bust but in the 7th round why not. Flowers is a smart player that has good hands and is decent in both run/pass.

Isn't Devon Smith supposed to be the "take the top off defenses" guy. Have you already given up on last years #2.

Since you want a speedy wr, you're going with us not resigning fitz?

I like Doctson a lot but he doesn't fit our team with Decker and Marshall. We need speed at WR!

Not sure Smith will be healthy and Fuller we know can step in day 1 and be a deep threat. It will open things up even more for Decker and Marshall.

Really good work putting this all together, i know how long these take especially with everything going on and especially with all of our uncertainty with Fitz and Mo. Saying that i don't think Fuller is the best pick for us, Devin Smith is a similar prospect and is often compared to Fuller. Similar size and speed and are both deep threat types, Fuller really struggles with drops while Smith is really good at tracking catches (when healthy). I hear a lot of scouts actually like Fuller over Treadwell and Doctson but i don't agree. Solid work

If you want speed, Coleman ran a 4.37 and he's a complete WR. I'd be surprised if either is our pick though. Coleman is 5'10 and our coaches seem to hate receivers under 6'. Fuller is solely a deep threat, I could see sneaking into the back end of the round at the highest.

    Nice work

The mocks are fun but if the CS has no interest in getting Lynch since we are more invested in Petty, then Mac will play it safe with the BPA or might even trade back. Who knows? Three days away from Round 1 wow

I had Lee the next pick to the Skins.

IMO he is too small for OLB and he's not proven at ILB.

I wouldn't pick Fuller at 20. He's a pure speed WR with drop issues. If the Jets were to target a WR in this draft at 20, I'd rather the Jets pick Coleman or Doctson.

Fuller is a mid-late 2nd round pick. If we take him over Coleman and Doctson I'll throw up. Love everything else though. Would maybe prefer Calhoun in the 2nd but might not be there.

would be tough watching Treadwell, Apple, Conklin and Jackson all go in the 4 picks above us.

if the board fell like that, I'd look at Dodd for the pick, or trade back to target Spriggs, Whitehair, or Martin (or even better try getting two of them).
Dodd to me is a 3 down player, which i don't see with Floyd.

Correa and Murphy could be good matches for the Jets though..
good job with round 1 overall..

I like Dodd he was explosive last year but I see him as a 3rd down pass rusher in a 3-4 system. I think he is better suited for a 4-3 DE roll where he can stay on the field for more snaps.

Correa is a perfect fit as an OLB in a 3-4 D.

Murphy is born to play RT and is solid in the run game. I think we could plug and play him day 1 and cut Breno's ass!

Yeah that was my thinking too. No way we take Fuller over these 2.

We actually need Decker and Marshall's future replacement.

That would be bananas taking Fuller with Doctson and Coleman sitting there. Bold Rockinz.

I'm not a believer in Coleman.. I think Fuller is a dynamic big play guy that we don't have.

I really like Doc and it was a tough choice between him and Fuller. In the end I felt that the speedster brings our offence a completely different element.
