Correct, it's already been established that he's a cheater. This was just the court ruling about labor law.
Nonsense, the cards will chew and spit the pats out without brady to keep up with their high octane offense. Divisional games are never easy, and facing two of them without your HOF qb certainly makes it more difficult. I would say they will split these matchups, beating the phins and rex getting the best of the pats while they are weak. The Texans are a real wild card this year depending on Osweiller. One thing is for sure though, JG will not get the ball out of his hands fast enough to avoid watt coming crashing through. The texans defense is tough and with the possibility of a decent offense sporting Lamar Miller and Hopkins they could get the early upset win with the pats missing TB's uncanny resilience. I honestly see the pats starting off 1-3 if the suspension stands.
I know I was just making an observation. I'm sure the NFL is quite happy with both the result and the timing
I'm thinking 0-4 or 1-3 without Brady. Zona game no way. Houston game probably not. Split the Miami/Buffalo games... maybe
I know that Berman's decision didn't touch upon guilt or innocence, and was grounded in procedural and contractual principles. In spite of this, it was widely used by Pats slappies as establishing Brady and the Pats' innocence. The NFL determined that Brady and the Pats cheated in what is undoubtedly the most thorough investigation of cheating ever undertaken by the NFL. Kraft accepted organizational punishment for cheating - That is uncontroverted. Goodell heard Brady's appeal and suspended Brady 4 games for cheating - That is uncontroverted. Brady's punishment for cheating has now been upheld by the Court of Appeals - That is uncontroverted. There is nothing left to argue. It's over. ****
Can we revise the title of Junc's classic thread to "the greatest QB of all time to be suspended for cheating"?
What's great about your post is that TB's reputation is so important to you that it took you less than a half hour to find you way to a Jets message board to defend her honor.
Except nobody is arguing that. Goodell ruled he cheated and the judge enforced Goodell's power to punish him for the cheating. Justice was served.
it's not even a few hours, it's just under an hour. by the way, if you look at what i said last may, on how the NFL was in its rights, the court agreed. Player Contract and CBA provided notice and fair hearing. BOOM
I enjoy my town's teams winning championships more than anything. A close second is the enjoyment I get from NY teams/fans sucking. As such, the level of schaudenfreude that this board provides me is top-notch. I spend a ton of time reading here, solely because it is so fun seeing Jets fans get excited about having a .500 season and whether Petty/Geno/Fitz is the right one to bring them to the Promised Land. The sun will rise, water is wet, and the Patriots will win the AFC East. #4gameswon'tmeanjack... And I will keep coming on here to enjoy the misery that is being a Jets fan.
