He's a jerkoff. Also, not named as a captain (one of three) as the STARTING QB his senior year (after starting as a soph and junior). http://www.mlive.com/spartans/index.ssf/2015/12/todd_mcshay_connor_cooks_nfl_d.html _
Teams will never give specifics but I read that a handful of teams were put off by him during the interview process. He might just be a cocky idiot. Who knows. But stuff like this does affect draft stock. To me he's high 2nd round talent. Could drop past that though.
Wow calm down there old timer......wtf do you think this is?Its a fan message board its not that serious you weirdo. No one ever made the claim that Madden was like the NFL .....but since you claim its nothing like it, the playbook is pretty much the same plays you see every Sunday.
No one compared real life trades to Madden......you guys really are a bunch of jokes. You guys need to get laid more......
Cooks character issues are bs IMO.. He is considered arrogant or conceded even.. Those traits aren't at all bad in a QB he lives breaths and loves football. And he lets u know it! After going back and watching some games of his he reminds me of Carson Palmer.
Sanchez is more likely to take the Broncos to a SB than a rookie is. It's just such a long season and most rookies are blown out by playoff time with nothing left in the can for the tournament.
Wow, what an arrogant fuck.... Maybe the Coach was trying to teach the bitch some humility by not naming him Cap't? But that was fucked up. No respect. Looks like he needs an IK'ing. Hope he gets it too
I didn't say he wasn't a good player because of his attitude, just that he's a jerkoff. Jay Cutler is an arrogant, conceded jerkoff but has off the charts arm talent. Cook doesn't have the arm talent and certainly not the athleticism to carry on like a jerkoff. The dude has never cracked 59% completion percentage and that's in college with a massive offensive line. He's just not that accurate, his footwork is awful, he looks clumsy out there and I don't see him getting more accurate at the NFL level. That he is "pro ready" because of the system he ran in college means nothing to me, he's just not that good. _
There is no way a third year STARTING QB as a SENIOR at a potentially National Championship contending team is NOT the captain of that team. Or at least ONE of them. There is something wrong there. _
Cook is a decent prospect but I doubt we draft him. I didn't see awful footwork. I think why his completion stats were low was because he is a vertical passer. The guy goes long a lot! He needs fast WRs to be successful. Arizona would be a perfect fit for him.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Arrogance like that often can be a sign of some underlying issue. The interviews with him will be the deciding factor with teams for sure. I'd love to see his response to being asked about that punk move he pulled on Archie Griffin
Oh he apologized profusely the next day. After the firestorm forced him to. He had to but it was bullshit. _
That is irrelevant. Winston's talent is off the charts and Tampa will reap the rewards. Manziel, not so much and Cleveland paid the price. Do you really want an inaccurate unathletic jerkoff as the face of your franchise and leader of your team? _
It's a different thing. It's not 'character issue's' per se like those two. But arrogance like that is a definite flag. It's why it's being talked about. There's no doubt that teams will be wary of it. In the end it doesn't matter why a guy doesn't cut it to a GM. Manziel's real issues manifested themselves later on, after the arrogant, shitty behavior anyway. That's what happens as time goes on. Besides, I know who Archie Griffin is and that shit is unacceptable
Mark absolutely carried the team during their PO runs. He set Jet records. Regular season no so much. PO? yes.
