You realize that had it not been for genetically modified corn and other grain crops we wouldn't be able to feed most of the world at todays population? and most of those "studies" involve feeding lab animals an insane about of food. Kind of like the ones where they said diet pop will give you cancer, well turns out you would have to drink a shit ton of diet pop for cancer to even have a chance.
speaking of Nebraska, the state unicameral did somehting good for once: Nebraska Just Abolished Civil Forfeiture, Now Requires A Criminal Conviction To Take Property http://www.forbes.com/sites/institu...nal-conviction-to-take-property/#44c84fae159e
corn is a completely man-made crop. injuns genetically engineered it thousands of years ago. It was cultivated from a wild grass called teosinte.
pretty much yea. and genetic engineering and genetic modification are two totally different things, well thats at least what I was taught in my plant science and genetics classes.
The plant science and genetics classes at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln are bound to be the most cutting edge skeptical class you can possibly take.
One is controlling a natural process. The other is altering it. It's not the scientific ethics people have a problem with.

Kasich campaign begins to vet VP candidates. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box...-were-starting-to-vet-potential-running-mates
That's funny. I am starting to vet VP candidates myself. I figure I have about as good a shot at the nomination as he does so why not
Kasich has a fairly good shot at the nomination. He's been in the race the whole way and he's not despised by most of the GOP establishment the way Trump and Cruz are. If Trump doesn't get to 1,237 before the convention Kasich is as likely to get the nomination as anybody. Cruz is prying delegates away from Trump that were theoretically already in Trump's column and he might well deprive Trump of the number he needs and then get jobbed out of the nomination at the convention himself. Useful idiots are big in the GOP these days.
Trump couldn't have dreamed for a better scenario than this - Will now push ahead on the outsider vs establishment argument that he constantly wins.
