Hank looks rattled and he's basically staring down teammates after they fuck up.

this is a bad team defensively....we got old over night. What was once a strength is now a major liability. Staal and Girardi are uselss and McD went from a special player to "meh"

What an embarrassment this series has been. The Penguins are just a much better team. With the way they were playing going into the playoffs we were deluding ourselves that the Rangers had a chance.

This team is flat and weak as shit...guys who literally lack the fight and talent. No cohesive play and piss poor defense.

I had a bad feeling and I knew this was likely. Can't believe they are getting torched like this but if management does not take this like a wake up call then it's all over for this semi successful era

Defense is nonexistent. 14 goals in 3 games? That's an embarrassment.

Pretty shocked the way this game has unfolded so far. Not many goalies I would take over Lundqvist in an elimination game but he def has looked off lately. Maybe the eye still bugging him? Either way he hasnt seemed to stop anything glove side lately.

Pens are def the flat out better team but I figured NYR would go down swinging.

Was just thinking the same thing but if you aren't 100% then don't play. Everything has gone glove side and I don't know how you can stop a puck going that fast with only one eye..

I hope the Lundqvist Era is not over. He deserves a Cup. Definitely need to make some changes this Summer. He can't do it all himself and in this series, I am not sure he even attempted to do it himself. I could be wrong, but it felt like down the stretch this season Hank was not feeling it and that continued into the playoffs.

His defense in front of him was absolute dogs hit for most of it...so many odd man rushes.

Let's see if the Caps can finally pull it out finally. Path is there for them.

Rangers have problems and it starts with AV, to get back to the top they need to shake things up

This team needs to be torn apart.

    Get rid of Girardi.
    Get rid of both Staals.
    Get rid of Nash.
Get rid of our dumbass coach.

There needs to be significant changes to this roster. I think it goes beyond just Girardi, Staal and Nash.

Well, we had Tanner Glass sabotaging the fourth line all year. I like his physicality but he has no skills with the puck and it's holding his linemates down.

Brassard was non-existent for the most part this post-season.

And really no one on the last two lines new how to score.

As far as defense goes, Klein was very up and down, M. Staal sucks, Girardi sucks, Boyle sucks.

Av is just not a good coach. When his normal strategy works, we do well. If it doesn't work, he sticks with it and we get our asses handed to us because he doesn't know how to adjust. Refusal to bench older players who suck. Doesn't seem to give a shit. Refuses to hold players accountable for when they don't play well. Has no passion for the game.

And finally Sather and anyone else involved in scouting/trades is sabotaging the team. Look at some of the horrendous trades/contracts we've made recently:
    • Eric Staal cost us a decent prospect and TWO second round picks (2016-2017)
    • Keith Yandle cost us an okay defenseman (not upset about that), a very promising forward (Duclair), a first (2016) and a second round pick (2015)
    • For Ryan Clowe, we gave up a second, a third, and a fifth
    • Dan Girardi, a horrendous defenseman these days, is getting paid $5.5m a year for the next FOUR seasons. Good luck finding someone to take on that contract.
    • Marc Staal is getting $5.7m a year over the same four seasons.
    • Dick Rash gets $7.8m a year to do nothing for another two seasons.
    • And now that all those shitty players are getting drastically overpaid, we have multiple young guys who HAVE to get paid or we are done. JT Miller is a RFA, Hayes is a RFA, Kreider is a RFA. Raanta is a FA, Yandle is a FA, McIlrath is a RFA. Good luck keeping half of them.

Gutless...they dragged Hank down to their level, trade Hank he'll never win a cup here...get rid of Boyle, Girardi, Glass, Dom Moore, Trash...Lindberg/Miller died the 2nd half, Kreider/Hayes underacheived...AV was horrible this year...Gorton had Jimmy Hayes for Cambot and didn't take him, fuckin dope...Zucc/Brass/Stepan let us down...McD had an off year...Jared Stoll's game is perfect for the playoffs, so Gorton waved him, another ignorant move...AV pairing of Yandle/Boil was a train wreck

Positives- Kleiner, Stalberg, Skjei, Mcilrath, Buchnevich,

Lets say we go along with your plan. Nash, Girardi, Staal and Glass are off the team.

You are telling me this team is capable of winning the cup? I don't think it is, and I don't think its even better than this season. Even if those four players are the problems, the problem with them is their contracts vs. their play, not whether rookies are better than them. You aren't improving as a team by getting rid of them, unless you are adding better hockey players in their place. What you would do is make your cap situation much better, but are we trying to build the most cap friendly team or the team with the best chance to win the Stanley Cup? I think we should go with a full rebuild. I don't think any small moves that we could make would give us a cup contender next year or the year after that or the year after that.

    Miller-Brass-Zucc
    Kreider-Step-Buchnevich
    Stalberg-Hayes-Fast
    Lindberg-Moore-Hrivik

    McDonagh-Klein
    Yandle-McIlrath
    Skjei-x

    Hank
    Raanta

A rebuild starts with cutting the dead weight. With all that cap room, we can sign our younger players to longer deals. Stop giving players NTC's that limit us.
