Could part of be that Matt realizes that he isn't "The Man" anymore but Thor is? It may not show publically, but Harvey seems to be tentative out there these days. No "tude" at all. Almost like a rookie who just made the squad. No swagger, nada. Without that aspect of his game, Harvey becomes average and very hittable. I think Matt needs to get mad again and start to pitch angry.

I think by mid-season he is going to be mowing teams down and by the stretch run he's going to be The Man again. But it's hard to imagine him being better than Thor.

He isn't. At least so far this year anyway.. Bad thing is, if Harvey wanted leverage with the Mets when his contract comes up, he's going about it strangely. Like I said, I think its mental right now with Harvey.

As long as he's healthy I'm betting on Harvey to figure it out. I don't think Noah has much to do with Matt finding his way.

Good to see Matz with another good outing. He looks comfortable and confident.

Now it would be nice to see deGrom have a solid outing tomorrow

Matz really bringing it since the Marlins fluke game.

Also can't say enough good things about Walker and Cabrera.

Love Murph and Flores but it's really like night and day from last season defensively. Asdrubal's also done more with the bat than I could've expected so far. Perfect veteran addition for this team from the looks of it.

Will be nice to see deGrom back on the hill tomorrow.

Neil Walker.. My god. Only one less hoMer than Bryce. I just wish he has a few more RBIS to go along with it. a lot of solo shots

Brain locks by Cabrera and Duda in the field made things harder than they should have been the last two games. Just shows how important it is to play error free heads up baseball. Every out and every play counts. You can't give up outs.

But we're way ahead of last year in the middle D, and Lagares looks much better too....

Very good to see deGrom fare well after his issues. Now it's time for Familia to get it together

Yeah, Cabrera and Walker have been pretty close to spotless in the field- what a huge difference from last year.

That ball sounded like beautiful music off of Conforto bat.

He's is hitting .324/.385/.618 when batting 3rd this year. He's found a home there.

The number 2 hitter should be a contact hitter. David is striking out way too much, to be there.

I would like to think Wright would go to TC and request to be dropped in the order to say... 6th or lower even.

The only person i could see moving to the 2 spot would be Walker.

Its a bummer having to see him as the weak link in a lineup when for so many years he was our only decent hitter.

Any type of above average pitch it looks like he just doesnt have a chance at. Flip him and Walker and this lineup would be scary.

I have to say it again, Walker what are you doing to my Murphy loving heart? It's really starting to beat for you.
