I would argue strongly against him being the most "pro-ready". Goff, Cook and Wentz all run laps around him as far as being ready to play in an NFL game. The offense he comes from isn't really much more sophisticated than Petty's, I don't recall the exact stat but his average depth of target is among the lowest in the draft. He has a decent cieling but he needs a ton of work.
Wow, I really slept on Dak Prescott. He looks like a nice little day 2 pick (late 2nd early 3rd). He's built well and is athletic with massive hands (10 3/4"). I think he can be pretty good and might be better value on Friday than trading up for a guy on the first day.
right on and I think he can be had even later. He's got concerning flaws but so do the other qbs, the value is in the price tag. Why pay top dollar for a flawed QB with potential when you can get one at a bargain price later.
He sucks man Dak would be a disaster. Poor mans Russel Wilson is a complement.. He's more like a poor mans Charlie Batch..
Actually everything I have read says of the 3 he is the least pro ready. But he has the highest ceiling. The system he was in wasn't a total disaster, in fact it's very similar to what Carolina runs. But if we drafted him I would hope we had fitz here to teach him, which looks highly unlikely.
Fitz is at the Rangers game tonight with Decker and Manhood, maybe others. Maybe he's gonna come to grip with reality soon.
Now that my top 2 are presumably gone, I'm all over the Cook and Prescott bandwagons. I'd like both of those picks and Cardale Jones a little later intrigues me too. Not sure I'd be very interested in many other QBs in this class.
For me at this point it's between cook and hackenberg with 1st/2nd or Jones with a 3rd/4th. I feel like out of all of those hackenberg will be the best QB. The irony is that he played amazing in a pro style offense but with a shit line in a college offense he played poorly so his stock dropped. Meanwhile petty played very well in a collage offense but his stock dropped because college offense doesn't mean anything ... Hackenberg IMO showed some serious toughness as he got totally screwed by penn/obrien and could have went to bama easily in year two but decided to stay at pen and take the beating he took. Based on Gailey's scheme and the type of QBs he's had success with in the past, I'm starting to lean towards Driskel on Day 3.

I don't even have Brissett in my top 20 qbs this draft. The scout who said he's better than Bridgewater should be fired on the spot.
Alright, I know hindsight is 20/20 but I've been watching games of the last few QB classes to see how this year's stack up... How the HELL did Derek Carr last until the 2nd round?
GMs being unable to separate him from his brother. That and the system he ran. His success however is helping a guy like Lynch this year.
