Do the 49ers have a QB? Why would they make this trade if one of the QBs are available?

They probably don't make the trade if Goff is there. However that's like a 25% chance at this point. Wentz will probably go in the first 4 picks.

This... Why trade a solid player and a 1st for a chance at a qb that most draft pundit say has less up side than the qb we can get with the spot we are at. This qb draft class is sad.

The 49rs would never make this trade regardless of who's available. It's a horrible and unrealistic proposal.

We'd be lucky to trade 20 and Mo to trade to #7 and now you expect a starting ol in on the deal? Yeah, ok

The OL retired last year and may well not want to play in SF for Baalke and Kelly. We don't know what the 49ers situation with him is at this point.

NEVER happen!!! Mac is on record multiple times saying that he thinks an excellent OL can be built with mid- and lower-round draft picks and UDFAs. There is no way he would EVER use the #7 pick on a RG. I'm not a gambling man, but I'd bet everything I had, if not my life, on that. At #7, he'd take a QB, LT, Jack or a CB. A RG would probably be THE very last position he'd take at #7.

Would we trade mo and 20 for 7? More than likely so why would they throw in an ol? I understand that he may not want to play in sf but he still has a lot of trade value.

Mo (and maybe our 6th) for Davis and their 2nd rounder

Sounds good in theory, but it doesn't match up well with what the good teams are really doing.

    ^Is that confirmed?

If so, great haul for Cleveland. But all that trade tells me is Wentz is going to be a star considering Cleveland didnt draft him

I think the Browns might be eying Lynch at 8. Trading back doesn't preclude picking a QB.

#8 is supposed to be way too high for Lynch, no?

QB desperation is inflating a lot of prospects' stocks. I don't think Wentz is worth selling the farm for but either LA or the Eagles just did it.

Supposedly the Eagles love Wentz so doubt they made this trade without knowing for sure that the Rams are taking Goff #1.

Crazy that 2 GM's are putting their jobs on the line in such a questionable draft class for QB's.

    This is insane.

First of all the Eagles have no idea which player will be available at 2.

Second if it's Wentz you traded a boat load of picks for a guy who has played 1 full season in FCS.
